item.publish unstable behavior (publishing fails or succeeds randomly)

I am publishing zipped File Geodatabases using the the ArcGIS API for Python and I am experiencing very random outcomes.

The zipped FGDB is always successfully uploaded.

The same code publishing the same FGDB, using the publish method, sometimes succeeds and sometimes fails without error message. Sometimes the Feature Layer is created but when I open its item page, there is an error message: "There was an error".

Some of my FGDBs are always published, one always fails and some are randomly published. All those FGDB are created using the same python code but contains different data.

I read other feedback on this forum talking about similar issues.
