This is specific to exporting to PDF, it never happens when exporting to JPG.

Sometimes when I export a map to PDF, some of the points are solid black instead of the intended colour. It doesn't always happen, there doesn't seem to be any reason I can detect. One day it happens, the next it doesn't (to the same mxd document) Sometimes if I increase the dpi to 400, 500, 600 etc. the problem goes away, but this isn't a practical solution.

You could either convert both rasters to shape files and do an intersect, or be a little creative with raster math. Resample the second raster to values in increments of 25 say, and then add the 2 rasters together. The "intersect " would be raster values 26, 51, 76, etc.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the code, it's probably the way to go. This is as far as I got with a model. I'm not sure what to add at this point, whereby if Top < x and Bottom > y .etc. then move raster to folder Z, or simply collect the name of the raster if it qualifies and save the list as a text file.

I have almost 1900 orthos (200m x 200m, in ecw format) sent to me for a project. Does anyone have a model, python script or method to preselect only those ortho images that intersect the study area? Loading all of them onto a map will take forever, and creating a raster dataset isn't working for some reason. I only have a basic license thanks in advance
