You made the same mistake I did. You missed step 8: https://support.esri.com/en/Technical-Article/000026950 So you also have to run the script on this directory c:\arcgis\arcgisportal

The issue is resolved by just rebooting the server. I guess something went wrong when I started the AGS-service after running the scripts. This caused the existing hosted feature services to stop working. My tests to publish hosted feature services failed. But that probably had a different cause. I tested with a feature class that is used in a relationship class. I think that generates this error: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000014995. After the reboot and testing with a different fc, I could successfully publish a hosted feature service. So all is good now. Although I hope Esri will release an update for ArcGIS Pro shortly, because my IT department wants to get rid of the problematic log4j-files in ArcGIS Pro.

Hi Mareike, Thank you. But I somehow can't find that bug. Do you maybe have a link to it? ps I'm 100% sure the issue started after I applied the scripts. But not 100% sure it's the cause. Maybe something else went wrong during restart of the services.

We have ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9. This morning I executed the recommended scripts. Now my hosted feature services don't work anymore. I can't publish new ones either. Is this just my bad luck or does anyone else have the same issue?

I would like my organization to add ArcGIS for Teams to our organizations Teams-app store. My organization wants me to upload a zipfile with the app-package. Where can I download the app-package? When I try this URL (https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200002859?tab=DetailsAndSupport), it tries to add the app to Teams, which is not allowed by my organization. When I look here (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/manage-apps?rsource=https%3A%2F%2Flinks.esri.com%2Farcgis-for-teams-configure) under the section "Upload an app package" it says this: "The developer creates a Teams app package using Teams App Studio, and then sends it to you in .zip format. When you have the app package, you can upload it to your organization's app store.". So I think Esri has to make this package available somewhere, if I want to be able to use it in my organization. Can Esri do this for me? Or does anyone know if there is a download available somewhere?

This solution only gets you the first 100 users. I used advanced_search to get more users, but I believe there is still a maximum. If you reach the maximum you have to use paging. But how did you figure out what the right search query was? source = GIS("https://servername.domain.com/portal", "username", "password", verify_cert=False)
source_users = source.users.advanced_search(query='!esri_ & !portaladmin', max_users = -1)
for user in source_users.get('results'):
print(user.username) This is my solution with paging. It works, but I'm not an Python expert, so I'm not sure this is the best method. It searches for 100 users at a time. When there are less than 100 users in the result, it means it has reached the last page. source = GIS("https://servername.domain.com/portal", "username", "password", verify_cert=False)
start = 0
lenght_searchresult = 100
while lenght_searchresult == 100:
source_users = source.users.advanced_search(query='!esri_ & !portaladmin', start = start, max_users = 100)
list_users = source_users.get('results')
lenght_searchresult = len(list_users)
start = start + 100
for user in list_users:
print(user.username)

Users can edit data in a WebApp with the Smart Editor-widget or the Edit-widget. With these widgets a user can add a feature (point, line, polygon) and edit the attributes of that feature. I.e. one of the attributes is a field where the user wants to add text with markup (bold, italics etc). This markup than has to show in the popup when another user is identifying the feature. To accomplish this I would like the option of presenting the user a WYSIWYG-editor in the Smart Editor-widget or the Edit-widget.

Unfortunately we still have the same problem and I don't have any new info. Three consultants looked at the problem and several IT colleagues. We don't really need this feature yet, but we are thinking about installing ArcGIS Enterprise on new servers. Hopefully that will solve this issues (and soms other weird issues...)

In the Netherlands we use day-month-year. In webmap-popups I can choose day/month/year, but the slashes imply an American notation is used. This is confusing. Viewers of the webmap have no way of knowing if 4/7/2020 is 4 July or 7 April. So in the Netherlands we use - instead of /

Hello Hatice, No, unfortunately not. Next week we will upgrade from 10.6.1 to 10.8. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Feel free to ask me again in two weeks. Regard, Laurens

In case others experience this problem, here is what I encountered. I created a webmap and added a service as a basemap. In the webmap I renamed the folder with the basemap to i.e. "basemap 1". I shared this webmap with the Basemap group. I created another webmap (webmap 2), added some operational layers, choose the "basemap 1" as my basemap. I created a webapp and used this webmap in the webapp. In the webapp I only saw "basemap 1" in the Basemap Gallery. Now I went back to the first webmap, renamed the folder with the basemap to "basemap 2". I refreshed my webapp. Now there are two basemaps I can choose from: basemap 1 and basemap 2. In my opinion this should not be possible, since there is only one webmap shared in the Basemap group. I solved the problem by going back to webmap 2, click on the basemap gallery button and select "basemap 2". Refreshed the webapp. And now there is only one basemap to choose from: basemap 2.
