Hello. I have created a Survey123 form in the Survey123 web designer for a restaurant inspection program. I can create an inspection record when I access the form in the web browser window. The inspection form and subsequent the inspection report both look great. I opened the 123 mobile app on my Android phone and downloaded the survey form. I can see the survey in the list. I can click and open the survey, and see the survey name, thumbnail, etc. at the top of the window, and the blue Collect button at the lower left. I press the Collect button, and I am greeted with a blank screen. The survey title is at the top (green banner) and the submit checkmark in the lower right, but no form questions. The same behavior was observed on an iPhone. I changed a share setting to "Open the surveys in the Survey 123 field app directly," same 'blank screen' behavior, so I changed the setting back to its original value. This behavior was completely unexpected. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jay

Hi Laura, that is good to know that my contingent work can be included. I am still in the dark a bit on how to do this. My colleagues and I do not have much experience in this area of ArcGIS. If you or someone reading here can supply some higher-level steps, I would greatly appreciate it. Many thanks, Jay

Hi Laura, thanks for the reply. I don't have much experience with subtypes. Would the contingency workflow still be used for the standard trees? Thanks, Jay

Good afternoon, I have been developing an in-house tree inventory field application. I borrowed the tree taxonomy data from the Esri tree management solution. I have managed to get the contingency choice functioning in Field Maps. I select a common name from the list and the remaining genus, species, etc. fields auto-populate. Our city arborist is asking for more flexibility. He wants to have the option to enter the taxonomy for trees not in the current contingent list, e.g., an imported tree having no common name in the current listing. He would like to be able to enter the taxonomy information manually whenever he encounters a tree he wants to add to our inventory but is lacking the contingent value taxonomy information. Is there a way to allow for entering taxonomy data in the taxonomy fields where these values are not listed in the contingency? Or, is there another option? If he knows the taxonomy for trees not in the table, I can update the table later, republish the service, etc., but we are looking for a way to enter the data 'real time' in the field. Thanks in advance, Jay

Decided to publish a new web map, same layers and publishing settings as before. New web map now shows 'Create features' templates in edit mode.

Greetings from Newark, Delaware's Public Works and Water Resources Department. We have been migrating our geometric networks to utility networks in our test environment (Enterprise 11.3) starting with stormwater and sanitary sewer. We have published feature services and created web maps. In our stormwater web map, 'Edit features' appears to be working as expected, but 'Create features' is not. No templates are present (see screenshot). In our sanitary sewer web map, the Create feature templates exist. Comparing the feature service settings, web map settings, etc. between the services and web maps have revealed nothing we can identify as the cause. Any insight into the cause and remedy would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello Survey123 users! I had a request to rearrange columns in the table view under the Data tab in the Survey123 web site. I can drag/release columns in the order requested, but the change seems to be temporary. If I refresh the browser window, the column order reverts back to its initial order. Is there a way to reorder the columns and have the new order persist? Many thanks in advance for any help. Sincerely, Jay

Hello. Recently, we noticed the locate/find tool (the magnifying glass to enter a 'place or address') stopped working in Field Maps on iOS tablets. We confirmed that the tool was also not working on an Android smart phone. We enter a known valid address and no result is returned. We employ the ArcGIS geocoder service and two other local geocoder services. The address search works fine when we open a web map in a web browser and enter an address. The result is returned in the search list, and the map zooms to the address location. The behavior started abruptly, working fine in the morning, not working in the afternoon. As a work around, we inserted an address layer into the web map, set to search the full address in the layer, and this is working in the iOS mobile device. We would like to see the functionality restored in the search tool but are at a loss to understand what has happened and how to fix. We did not make any changes to our Enterprise 10.9.1 platform within the time frame where we noticed the issue. Maybe we need to restart our services Server, Portal, and Data Store?

Good afternoon Mike, We are working our way into the Utility Network. I was running the Assign Terminal Connections GP tool on our Stormwater data and received an "A python error occurred." message containing information I don't understand. In snooping the forum, I noticed this post regarding 'untools' versions and thought maybe I am running into the same or similar issue as the original post author, and I need to upgrade untools. I am using ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.3. When I dig into the Package Manager, 'untools' is showing as 3.4.0, but I don't know if this represents the version number. From your post and an internet search, it looks like untools version 3.3.4 is the latest, so I am confused. I don't know if I need to uninstall my current untools 3.4.0, and install 3.3.4? And if yes, is there any compatibility concerns with Pro 3.4.3? I have greatly appreciated the help you have provided to me in the past. Sincerely, Jay

Null values.......Flow hydrants 5 and 6 were added to the survey form long after the original four flow hydrants were added. New flow testing created new survey records with the default values (pitot, disch coef, and diameter) and calculated GPM flow values as expected. There was a batch of existing test records that had null values instead of the default values after adding hydrants 5 and 6. Thus, the total flow and calculated flow at 20 psi could not be calculated for those records. A quick series of field calculations added the default values, and the flow calculations are occurring as expected.
