The recommended resolution of my display is 3840 x 2400. When the display is set to this resolution, the editing cursor is very small making it difficult to snap to an existing feature when creating new features. The cursor box is much easier to see if the display is changed to 1920 x 2400 resolution. I would suggest an option to be able to adjust the size of the of the cursor box regardless of screen resolution. This would be similar to what one can do in various CAD programs. This would also be an ease of access/accessability option for those who are visually impaired. Cursor box at 3840 x 2400 resolution: Cursor at 1920 x 1200 resolution: Option in AutCAD to adjust Pickbox?cursor size:

I've had success using GIMP to do raster cleanup on scanned or screenshots of parcel maps. GIMP is a free GNU image manipulation program. I then georeference the maps the same as you would do in ArcScan. Once georeferenced, I run the Thin geoprocessing tool to get the parcel line width down to a minimum number of cells. I the used the Raster to Polyline tool or the Raster to Polygon tool to convert the raster image to vector image. I loaded these steps into a saved Task in ArcPro to streamline the workflow a bit. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone and thanks for the invite Rebecca! I'm a volunteer for Headwaters Land Conservancy in Northeast Lower Michigan, USA. I'm a retired engineer and self taught in GIS thanks to ESRI Training! I'm currently working on prioritizing private land parcels for permanent protection. Hence, I'm most interested in conservation/environmental GIS topics. Thanks to ESRI for their great support of non-profits!

Hello. I started going through the "Styling and Visualization" Developers Lab that was suggested by an email I received the other day (see attachment). I made it to Step 10 where the lab had me change the Admin0 forest or park/label/Default layer visibility zoom range number to 3. When I did so, the map went blank. I tried to increase the visibility number back to 5, but this didn't make the map visible again. I restarted the lab a second time and the same thing happened again. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if this is perhaps a bug? Thanks, Jim

Dan, Thanks for finding the bug report. I'll check it out. I may have found a workaround. What I was doing was changing some parameters in a Weighted Sum tool and then only rerunning the model from the Cost Connectivity tool (see below) : This method apparently can save some time by using some of the outputs previously run as inputs for the new model run. I've been successful three times now by first making my Weighted Sum changes, then hitting the "Validate" button on the ribbon and saving the model I can then then run the entire model over again (from the Run button on the ribbon). This seems to work without getting the error. Hitting "Validate" clears the shadows under the variable inputs that signify that portion of the model has been run. Perhaps having these old results as inputs to the new model run was preventing any new files from being written to the Temp folder?

Hi Dan, thanks for the suggestion. Actually, the Google drive folder is a local folder. I just sync the folder to Google drive periodically for backup. However, I'm willing to give it a try if you think it might help.

Hope someone out there has also run into this problem and can suggest a solution. While running the Spatial Analyst Cost Connectivity Tool, I receive the error: This is the description of the error from Pro Help: I receive the same error regardless if I run the tool from ModelBuilder or from the geoprocessing pane. I can sometimes get the tool to run if I close ArcGIS Pro and restart the PC and then immediately reopen Pro and run the model. Seems like I need to start out a new temp file fresh before anything else uses it. I've tried searching GeoNet and the web for hints on how to increase the space at the temp file location as suggested by the error solution (see above) but was unable to find anything. I'm wondering if this is a system problem on my machine or perhaps a software bug? Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Megan, I'm basically recreating the "Mountain Lion Corridors" tutorial using my own parameters. Here's a few screenshots I hope will help you out. I noticed in the file save dialog it says "All Tables" but not types or file extensions are listed. I tried to add an extension such as .txt to the file name, and it seems to work. Maybe it just needs a default extension to to make it "idiot" proof . The same thing happens when I use the Reclassify tool from outside of Modelbuilder. Also, what make it a bit confusing is the file save and load dialog boxes don't update when they are closed and reopened. I learned that I needed to refresh them manually by clicking the refresh button at the top of the window. Hope this helps.

While using the Reclassify tool from within Modelbuilder, I tried saving a remap table and it did not create the file. Also, the open remap file does not appear to be working.
