Saranya, Based on the error that you are getting, the Python install is missing the email module. It is getting to line 9 in the script which is "from email import Encoders" and is failing because it can't find the email module to import the encoders to the script. My recommendation is to call Support. It looks you are trying to run from Pro, I also see a path referencing ArcCatalog for an SDE Connection, and you are also running ArcGIS Server if you are trying to publish this GP task. Basically there are python installs all over the place and Support will help you isolate the correct install that needs to have the missing email module installed. Doing it yourself can be tricky and time consuming.

This video demonstrates how organizations can use Survey123 and Webhooks to make event edits using a tabular or form-based approach. Not all users of Event Editor appreciate or want to use the map-centric editing approach. The video demonstrates how a DOT could make REST calls with Webhooks to the ApplyEdits event call to push data into specific events and specific versions of an enterprise geodatabase. If you have questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me or @Gary Waters with questions.

The purpose of this demonstration is to show how Hub Premium empowers organizations to do the following. Publish date for the public to use. Organize information about specific topics to improve public understanding Connecting with members of the community to share or contribute data Working Collaboratively with trusted members of the community to make a positive impact in specific areas of interest. There are three key takeaways you should walk away with after having watched this video. Jeff and I will show you how to reduce your administrative burden. We will show you how to integrate field efforts with mobile GIS tools. We will show improved coordination across the Adopt-A-Highway Program. I would like to thank @Matt Viverito for pulling this workflow together because he is responsible for most of the work. I would also like to thank @Jeff Eisman for assisting me in the demonstration.

At ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1, Esri introduced Enterprise Sites as part of the ArcGIS Platform. This technology gives users the ability to design and build tailored web pages that highlight an organization’s GIS content. Enterprise Sites work with users of all GIS experience levels, and they support the ArcGIS Enterprise security model allowing you to leverage your user, group, and public content securely. This interactive experience allows users to easily navigate and find the data, maps, and apps that are important to them without learning how the portal works, how to navigate it, or how to access a security group for data, maps, and apps. For those of you not in ArcGIS Enterprise, not to worry, we have you covered in ArcGIS Online. You can build the same rich experience for your users too.

Operations Dashboards do more than report situational awareness and real-time activity. They make for a beautiful and immersive visualization experience. The ability to filter data and get to an answer quickly and in a way that is easy to understand makes them a compelling choice for communicating an idea. This video shows how the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS can be used to show the location of postponed projects and the value they could bring to a community. It explains how we use the technology to help us drill down and understand that even though a project in 2017 wasn't appropriate then, it may be now that money is available. We need to add a few more projects to make sure the money gets spent, and the public understands the project that was promised or needed.

This video demonstrates how to use Insights for ArcGIS to support Project Prioritization and Scoring at a State Department of Transportation. Many State DOT's rely on excel spreadsheets with calculations that help the score projects based on need. If an organization can accomplish the same work using the enterprise to manage the data as the authoritative source of truth in a collaborative workflow, this will drive answers quicker and foster other applications like the Historic Project Repository. Because applications can reuse the data once the projects are selected, and the scoring algorithm is applied. After processing the data, it can pour into other applications in the ArcGIS Platform like Operations Dashboards and Web App Builder applications for visualization. This demonstration shows how to accomplish this using a simple workflow that is repeatable year after year. Special thanks go to @Stewart Rouse for his help in organizing and processing the data we from Colorado Department of Transportation.

Attribute Rules were introduced to the GIS community in January 2019 with the release of ArcGIS Pro 2.3 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7. The focus was and still is improving data quality and reducing erroneous data entry. While Geodatabase Domains do this through pick lists and validation through range domains, there is nothing stopping an editor from picking the wrong value. Also, many DOT's attach information onto their asset inventory such as the county, District, Maintenance Region, and other administrative boundaries. Many DOT's even do this through post-processing. What if there was a way to do this in real-time while an Editor is creating a new feature or even moving an existing feature or updating its attributes. I present to you Attribute Rules. The Attribute rules are designed to support 3 types of workflows. Automatic population of attributes. Perform QA checks on existing features. Constrain Invalid Edits. They are applied to your data residing in an Enterprise Geodatabase and are just another complex behavior like domains and subtypes. They support two workflows which include evaluation at edit operations using immediate calculations to populate an attribute dynamically or they can be used as a constraint to specify permissible values. The second workflow they support is evaluation of data by a validation service allowing the user to apply them to a batch calculation to populate attributes and validation to validate existing data. Attribute Rules allow you to make the data smart, so the editor doesn't have to necessarily know where they are when they are editing a bridge. As long as they create the bridge point, Attribute Rules can, for example, intersect the bridge point with a county and pull out the county name and insert it into the county name field on the bridge layer. So as long as you know what the authoritative data sources using arcade expressions you can make your data smart. The best part in all of this is that wherever you make edits, in Pro, Web App Builder, Event Editor, Survey123, Collector or any other app that supports editing, the database will always honor your attribute rules and apply them no matter the client making the edit. Here is a video I put together to illustrate how it works. Over the next few months, I'll update this blog with videos on Constraints and Validation Rules. To sweeten the pot I've also attached all of the arcade expressions I used in the video to give you a head start on your own efforts to implement Attribute Rules. Also here is a nice article in the help and a deeper dive video than mine on Attribute Rules from the 2019 Developer Summit.

Josh, I too was having this issue but when setting up attribute rules. In my case, I was setting up rules on a point feature Bridge and the rule calculates a rotation angle that is parallel to the intersecting road. For whatever reason, I couldn't get the attribute rule to validate. Then I tried intersecting with the County Boundary, DOT District, and DOT Region and had the same issue. Then I started looking at my bridge data and it turns out the first two records didn't have geometry. They had attributes but didn't have a geometry. When I deleted them and applied my rules the rules validated. Are you editing filed that have attribute rules applied? (I would not edit the attribute columns that have attribute rules applied) Are the existing features you are trying to edit have geometry? (I'm assuming they do but don't want to leave anything to chance.) I would open a support ticket if these items don't help you.

Gavin, I'm not sure. I just tested the post, in incognito mode on my browser and I wasn't signed in and the video started playing with audio. Maybe your organization is blocking content coming from GeoNet. Check with your IT group and see if they need to whitelist content from GeoNet. With regard to ArcGIS Solutions, this is a configurable solution but because the 50 State DOT's do materials management testing 50 different ways there isn't a single unified solution. Many use AASHTO forms that have been slightly modified for their workflows so it makes it difficult to come out with a single solution. We can look at your current solution and can modify the workflow in the video above to meet your organization's needs, you can get started here: DOT Materials Management

Ok, So I see what is going on... our service is displaying the Sub Type field and the Incident Type field. As I said before, Esri has no control over how these incidents are being coded because they are crowdsourced. It is possible Waze is coding the incident type with a default value which happens to be WEATHERHAZARD. I've asked my colleague Andrew and he is looking into it. He also never shows the Incident Type field because more often than not it is incorrect. What's curious is Waze doesn't use it either because it is off in their popup. I've set up GeoEvent to process any incidents that are Road Construction to list Hazard rather than WEATHERHAZARD and I also change the case because I'm not a big fan of all caps values in my popup. The bottom line I want to make crystal clear is that we are reporting exactly what Waze is giving us in this service you referenced, we aren't changing it or manipulating it in any way. I'm telling you this because I don't want you to get the impression we are giving you bad data we are just reporting it exactly as Waze is giving it to us. When Andrew gets back to me I'll follow up with another post.

Jayateerth, Sorry you didn't get a response sooner, I too have a need for this and in my testing, I was able to replace HTTP with HTTPS and port 6180 with port 6143 and everything worked successfully. I was told at 10.7 GeoEvent will by default display the HTTPS pattern. As long as you have a security cert from a certificate provider and you have HTTPS enabled you will be able to do this. If not then I suggest you read up on the tutorials provided with GeoEvent Server and then you can make the change to your Reciever.

Bill, I work on the Esri Transportation Team and have a fair amount of experience working with Waze and our GeoEvent Server technology. I want to point out that the pop up is only reflecting what the data from Waze reports. Here is the data schema for Waze https://developers.google.com/waze/data-feed/incident-information#incident-elements. How are you getting your data from Waze. The Esri Marketplace or through GeoEvent Server? Do the road closures that have clearly expired show up in the Waze commercial routing app? Also does the closure show up in the Browser base app maintained by Waze. If you can make these details a little clearer to me I’ll reach out to my colleague who manages the relationship we have with Waze to look into this. Eric
