It really solves the problem even on 2012 but i still got the recurrent message below: 000743 : Reconcile failed during replication synchronization. Even taking the replica out of conflict. Does anyone experienced this before? - Ezequias Rocha

Hello Everyone Is there any restriction betweeen creating a replica using an Enterprise Geodatabase (like Oracle) and a Workgroup Geodatabase (like SqlServer Express)? I am getting the following error message: 000582 : Error occurred during execution. It doesn't tells me nothing. The documentation only says i am giving the wrong parameters but i just set the basic parameters in a two_way replica as you can see in the attached image.

Hi everyone I am trying to perform a two_way replication with the tool Create Replica (Data Management > Distributed Geodatabase) but I got the following error message: Output child Workspace: <empty> PS: My output database does not have any Geodatabase (just an Oracle instance) and my input has ArcFM. Does anyone can give me any help on that? Regards Ezequias Rocha

I am having this error even using local Printing task [RPC Fault faultString="Unable to complete operation." faultCode="400" faultDetail="Error executing tool.: Layer "Oceanos": Unable to connect to map server at http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Ocean_Basemap/MapServer. Failed to execute (Export Web Map). Failed to execute (Export Web Map Task)."] I am using Ocean as a Basemap (without the MapSwitcherWidget) on the following tag: <basemaps> <layer type="dynamic" label="Oceanos" url="http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Ocean_Basemap/MapServer" visible="true" reference="false"/> </basemaps> or <basemaps> <layer type="tiled" label="Oceanos" url="http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Ocean_Basemap/MapServer" visible="true" reference="false"/> </basemaps> Is that really the correct url? Any suggestion? Regards Ezequias Rocha

Lucas, You can not retrieve a sublayer from the map using this or any function, only a whole Map Service. Is this real? can't we retrieve the state of any FeatureLayer? Where do we can find this limitation on the documentation Robert? Ezequias

Also one more thing, It is a good practice to download Tutorials and Examples (see attachment) I guess there is a Slide Bar in Philadelphia Example then you can check how they organized the Layers , select some area go to File Export--> WebScene and you will see their setting Good Luck Lukasz Thanks Lukaszczar I will try your suggestion. I don't have any remote sensoring images but I got my area from google just to draw a draft. What do you think of it? Should I add the parcels and buildings on ArcMap ant than import the geodatabase and the non-retified image to CityEngine? Regards Ezequias Rocha

Hi I am wondering if it is possible to retrieve the current information of visible layers. I have found many samples but all relating to what is defined on the map service. My idea is to retrieve with layers are checked as visible at a certain moment in the application. I tried lately to add a event listener but I didn't have any success. AppEvent.addListener(AppEvent.MAP_LAYER_VISIBLE, mapLayerVisibleHandler); Regards Ezequias Rocha

I am customizing a widget to set the scale of my map dynamically (via inputbox). I am having trouble becouse the scale defined is not the reflected on the map. I am using tiled maps as <layer type="dynamic" from my server and from arcgis basemaps. The navigator is not displaying LODs (as you can see) wich I prefer for being much more free to navigate to specific envelopes. Have you have any idea why this is ocurring? Mihkel, Most likely the setting of URIEncoding to UTF-8 is causing this behavior. if you can isolate the one of the REST services to use to use a different instance of tomcat, you might be able to identify if it works as expected. Ravi Strange, becouse i have experienced the same problem but locally (in some machines but not in other) using DataExtractorWidget (for Flex 3.6). Does anyone knows why this happens? Regards Ezequias Rocha

Hi, I am having trouble to build the source code in my flex viewer 3.6. I just copied the widget module and the samples folder to my project but it didn't work. By the way, could you make xml-editable the "Time Enabled" label and the "On/Off" button label? Your widget is awesome. Regards Ezequias Rocha

Hi I am getting a NaN (not a number) when trying to use your code like this: MessageBox.Show("X: " + GpsConn.Longitude + "\n" + "Y: " + GpsConn.Latitude + "\nA: " + GpsConn.Altitude); MessageBox.Show("X: " + serialPortGpsConnection1.Longitude + "\n" + "Y: " + serialPortGpsConnection1.Latitude + "\nA: " + serialPortGpsConnection1.Altitude); Do you have any clue of what could happening? I get the "pen" message as you code it for. Regards Ezequias Rocha Did you ever get this to work? I am trying to use a SerialPortGpsConnection with a GPS emulator. I know the SerialPortGpsConnection finds the gps connection and it writes successfully to the log file. And I assigned it to the GPSDisplay but it never updates the GPS location on the map. private SerialPortGpsConnection serialPortGpsConnection1 = new SerialPortGpsConnection();
private void openButton_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
try
{
// Create an instance of MobileCache, and set StoragePath
MobileCache m_mobileCache = new MobileCache();
m_mobileCache.StoragePath = @"c:\temp\MapCache";
m_mobileCache.Open();
// Load layers from MobileCache to Map control
mapControl1.MapLayers.AddRange(m_mobileCache);
//Declare a generic GPS connection variable
GpsConnection GpsConn = null;
//Uncoment to Use SerialGPSConnection if you are reading GPS data from a device
serialPortGpsConnection1.PortName = "AUTO";
serialPortGpsConnection1.LoggingFile = @"c:\temp\logginggps.log";
serialPortGpsConnection1.Open();
Boolean port = serialPortGpsConnection1.IsOpen;
if (port) MessageBox.Show("open");
GpsConn = serialPortGpsConnection1;
gpsDisplayControl1.GpsConnection = GpsConn;
gpsDisplayControl1.Map = mapControl1;
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
MessageBox.Show(ex.Message);
}
}
