That may have been the issue. The version I published the survey with was 3.12.232.

I found something interesting and I'm curious if this is a know issue, or if I may have some other issue. I created a choice filter in Survey123 Connect for a survey that allows citizens to submit non-emergency requests to our city. The form worked fine in testing, but when I published it to AGO and opened the web form, I noticed Request Categories ("Fire Safety", "Parks and Recreation") would not show any Request Types in the subsequent question. However, when I shortened these categories to "Fire" and "Parks", the web form worked as expected. Is this a bug, or will choice filters only work with values that do not spaces?

Hello, I have not tried to store the image in the feature layer. I have gotten sidetracked on other projects and have not actually started testing the form yet. However, I didn't necessarily want to store the images with each feature layer. I will have to test this, though, because I was hoping to insert the image into a feature report template and I may have the same issues you are having.

Since querying a feature service would require access to the service URL, I don't think this would be possible in the scenario described above.

The issue I was having was a syntax error. I did not put f_id in brackets as ${f_id}. However, I did have further issues passing the parameter as text before the script worked. Since there are spaces in the address, I had to add additional quotes to the query line: let where = "where=FULLADDR="+"'"+ID+"'";

@ZacharySutherby , I downloaded the script and have it working with your data. Now, I am trying to replace parameters to work with my own data, but am getting an error. Here's a few images of what I'm getting. /*
* JavaScript functions for Survey123
*/
function returnFeatures(ID) {
// Output value. Initially set to an empty string (XLSForm null)
let outValue = "";
//The service URL of the layer I'm trying to query
let layerURL = "https://services.mh-gis.com/server/rest/services/Address/SiteAddressPoint/FeatureServer/0"
// Set up query parameters
let f = "f=json";
//FULLADDR is the field I'm trying to match to within the service
let where = "where=FULLADDR="+ID;
let outFields = "outFields=*";
let returnGeometry = "returnGeometry=false";
let returnCount = "returnCount=1";
let parameters = [f,where,outFields,returnGeometry,returnCount].join("&");
let url = `${layerURL}/query?${parameters}`;
// Create the request object
let xhr = new XMLHttpRequest();
// Make the request. Note the 3rd parameter, which makes this a synchronous request
xhr.open("GET", url, false);
xhr.send();
// Process the result
if (xhr.readyState === xhr.DONE) {
if (xhr.status !== 200) {
// The http request did not succeed
return "bad request: " + url
} else {
// Parse the response into an object
let response = JSON.parse(xhr.responseText);
if (response.error) {
// There was a problem with the query
} else {
if (response.features[0]) {
outValue = JSON.stringify(response.features[0]);
} else {
// No features found
}
}
}
}
return outValue;
} Do you have any thoughts on why it's not finding f_id? I can't find find where else to define it in the script or the calculation?

Chris, I was able to get something close to what I had in mind using the following: The setbacks are pulling from CSVs in the media folder and the image filename is constructed from the zoning plus ".img" to display it in the note. The images are also in the survey's media folder. The end result looks like this:

I'm also trying to do something similar. It looks like it's somewhat possible if you change the field to image and change the appearance to annotate, but the image won't show up in the form (and I assume save as an attachment) until the image is annotated, which I do not want to do. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/how-to-display-image-dependent-on-select-one/m-p/1132099#M39637

Would it be possible to just show the image without using an Annotate appearance? I have .jpgs of zoning setbacks, which I want to display only the relevant .jpg based on a previous pulldata() that intersects the location with our zoning service. For example, if the location is within A-1 zoning, the setback diagram for A-1 zoning would display below, without the user having to annotate the image.

Thank you for clarifying, Ruth. I was still trying to create a selection before generating the report, which was exceeding 1,000 records. When I updated the summary report template with !important in each filter and only selected 1 record, the report shows the totals as-expected. Thanks!

Thank you for the response Ruth. Unfortunately, I don't think the !important filter will work, because my summary report is set up to populate individual cells in a table by month and inspection type. Thus, the !important filter would override those filters and my table would not be accurate.

I have several scenarios for different projects and I have issues almost weekly with each scenario. I also had scenarios stop yesterday afternoon. My most common errors are: "Maximum number of repeats exceeded" - I think the solution to this (time will tell) is to increase the number of repeats in the scenario setting. I am under the impression that this happens when multiple surveys are submitted in short order, thus jamming up Integromat. "The operation timed out" - I have not found a solution to this one, as the OP mentioned is likely due to a hosting issue. "Missing value of required parameter 'URL'" - I have tried a few things to handle this error, but with limited success. My understanding is that the URL that I am requesting in an HTTP module to retrieve the PDF feature report (that gets uploaded to a OneDrive folder) is probably taking too long to generate and thus a URL is not being passed. I have tried adding a "Sleep" module to pause the scenario for 30-60 seconds to give the Create Report module time to process. That seems to work most of the time, but if paused too long, it will time out.

Is there any plans to increase the maximum number of records allowed in a feature report summary? I run a report each month that shows cumulative totals for the entire year, but this is the first month that we are over 1,000 inspections.
