This doesn't seem to be working in IE, but works great in Chrome. Do you have any suggestions? Fixed by removing the check by "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" under Compatibility View Settings. That's easy for me. Now I'll need to get that deployed across my whole org.

Okay, my reply is long overdue. But I have reached resolution! I attempted to follow the documentation for the DotNet proxy on GitHub by inspecting examples and also followed the instructions here : on the "Manage Apps" section on the docs.arcgis.com site In actuality there are three workflows that I've found. Items one and two will necessitate a proxy if you are to utilize AGOL items and wish to employ your web server's security. Item three will not require a proxy, but might require you to keep the Web Appbuilder version in sync with the Github LocalLayer Widget. I also believe that item three will not have any 1's and 0's going to agol either during client sessions. AGOL Web Appbuilder (download your code after configuration in AGOL). -- The example below Developer Edition Web Appbuilder Developer Edition Web Appbuilder with LocalLayer Widget : Bypassing AGOL Items Here's the variables: https://mysite.com/mywebapp https://mysite.com/DotNet/proxy.ashx https://myorg.maps.arcgis.com clientID="1111111111111111" clientSecret="22222222222222222222222222222222" --------------------------------------------------------- 1. I'm not sure that I understand the workflow. A version is created in my db every time someone takes a map offline. Do I need a routine to then reconcile and post all of these versions that are created thereafter? What happens if I delete these versions? The administrative panel on my gdb is growing with versions of dbs every day because of people taking maps offline. Either way, it's not working for us. Every time we sync, we get no errors, it just still reports that you need to sync, with the number of edits still awaiting sync there in the mobile application. Nothing is coming across the wire. I'm sure this new edit versioned features functions, but it's not working in my sde db. Every enterprise is different. So I guess I'll switch back to the archived route. It's much cleaner than managing the potential of creating multiple transactional versions between field maps, and users. Message was edited by: Alex Mahrou

Are you accessing the base table or the versioned view? The versioned view will give you the best window into the data.

Because you don't have secure rest endpoints. Test this by navigating on your phone to your rest endpoint. If you are presented with a user name and password, you're secure. Try to hit the service REST endpoint from your phone. http://yourserver/arcgis/rest/services/folder/service/FeatureServer/1?f=json Esri Anonymous will appear in a collector application edits because people are signing in on AGOL, and then hitting your service as anonymous. Editor tracking will only work in this instance if you had agol on your network (Portal) or if you have shared a secured service with AGOL, thus requiring the user to input their credentials every time they open the map.

Thank you Zhifang, but my services are using Web Tier authentication (Not GIS Tier with Tokens), as I have mentioned in the first post. The application sits on my web server. Thus the only thing that I would need to remove is the ArcGIS item popup. I have looked at the use proxy link that you have provided. I was just curious what the code in the proxy config would look like given my variables. I guess you don't know that. 😉

Has anyone else seen this? I've got a guy in the field who's attempting to sync. There's three rows in the feature class that come accross, but then the attachements don't populate. His mobile device shows that there are three items still to sync. So in essence my server doesn't think there's data to update? Surrounding the time that he's synchronizing in the field, here's a screenshot of my error logs from my server.... What should I do? Restart the service? Delete the rows on my end and ask him to resync? Have him sign out, reboot the iPad and sign back in? I'm using server 10.3 and Collector for ArcGIS on the iPad (the latest).

I am an author of a field map that is shared among 34 people in the field. Some people take it offline. I know that under the hood, it's all json being referenced. I'm getting requests to add layers to the map and I'd like to roll this out into the existing map without disrupting anything with my field users. Is there a best practice for this sort of thing? I'd imagine that the best way to tread lightly is to not mess with any of the layer id's that are currently referenced and only add layers at the bottom. I just want to be sensitive to the, let's call it, arcgis.com item field map schema.

Zhifang, My only need is to remove the first popup for the agol map item authentication. There are no subsequent popups as this resides on my web server within my domain and I am using web auth tier security for the services referenced within. I am in disagreement that there is much code needed server side. Otherwise why would you be able to register an application so easily with Esri? All I need to know is the json code to put in the end of my applications config.json and the proxy.config settings that will utilize the following variables: clientid, appsecret, url: https://mywebserver/webapp My proxy is located here: https://mywebserver/DotNet/proxy.ashx I've provided the variables, I wonder if someone knows the answer...

Double check that it includes feature services. Open the map in arcgis.com and ensure that you can edit the underlying data. If you want this to be taken offline, go into the map item properties and see if you can check the box under enable offline mode. I also have seen goofy behavior with maps mysteriously being "unshared" with the group. In which case you need to: open the map, unshare, save, then share, then save again. And then it should show up amongst group members.
