I have an error storing credentials on secured service in AGOL that results in a 502 Bad Gateway After adding the item, and storing my credentials, I attempt to add the service to my map and I get an error 502 bad gateway. If I attempt to browse to the new rest endpoint at utility.arcgis.com I get an ArcGIS Portal Directory Error. ******************** ArcGIS Portal Directory | Home Error You do not have permissions to access this resource or perform this operation. Error: 403 ******************** I'm using server 10.2.2 sync sync-enabled feature service. (GIS Tier Authentication) I've tested this with map services too and also on a computer that is completely off of my company domain. Do I need to do something to federate my server with AGOL? Do I need to set up some sort of a proxy or open a port to AGOL? The instructions for this are turn-key http://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/arcgis-server-services.htm They just say, you can do this. But don't provide any detailed prerequisites?

I have further narrowed down that this behavior happens on my secured services. All unsecure services populate just fine. Has Esri sunset support for secure services with the legend widget on this release? I am using 10.0 sp3. I did not see anything like that explained in the changelog-- so I'm confused. The legend widget was working fine with my secure services in the 3.1 version of the viewer. Yeah so, the LEGEND widget does not populate with secure services from 10.1 Server either.... IS ANYONE ELSE SEEING THIS?

Thanks for your time Mike! We have just started using this platform, and I'm pretty impressed thus far. Just a few lines of code, and you are good to go. I look forward to any findings regarding this behavior.

So, I are there any attributes that I can configure in my iframe to show Day Month and Year on my time slider for my time-enabled data? It currently only shows "Time Range" and reports AM or PM hour time ranges. Also, popups appear not to be working when the time slider is enabled on the embedded map. They get back to working again when I exit the time slider.

10.1 SP1 ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 3.1 So I'm attempting to add an Operational Layer to my new project and I'm getting the error: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Am I doing something wrong? I am using the IP address of my server as it's not live yet with a FQDN. Do I need to include a port number? I'm just typing in http://serverip/arcgis/rest Am I missing something?

So I'm coming from a 10.0 secure environment and I'm trying to make sense of the 10.1 rest endpoints that I should be pointing to in my Flex Viewer. Is the correct url for a secure service follow the convention below? https://servername:6443/arcgis/rest/services/folder/mapservice/MapServer Or am I missing something?

You nailed it... I'm using secured services. I'll wait for Esri to release this. It's been a long time coming for them to fold the legend widget into the Layer list. Thanks for everything that you do Robert!

Now I just tried to create new features in the sqlexpress child replica and I'm getting the error "synchronize replica failed" version not found. I went to my temp directory on the client machine, and nothing was written to the replicalog.dat, also a zip file containing an xml was created. I check the server log and there are no warnings or errors either. This was just working yesterday! Perhaps something is going on with my virtual directories and security? I feel as though the zip payload that's being generated on the child side is getting blocked somehow on the parent side, but I have no way of telling how or why.

Heather, thanks for your help up to this point! Yes I am confirming that I was connected as the sde user in PostGresql, what's next? I tried to look up the issue number that your referenced in the upcoming sp5 release announcement but it isn't present in the list. http://downloads2.esri.com/support/downloads/other_/185410.0_SP5_Announcement.pdf
