Hi All, I have a collector app that is using related data from our enterprise geodatabase (registered) published on our ArcGIS Server. I have added the feature services and their related table onto AGOL (saved and shared). I have manged to access the app using collector, make changes which were reflected on my enterprise geodatabse live. However, when I downloaded the app to work offline, it finished downloading but when I tried to open it, I am getting the following error message "Unfortunately, Collector has stopped" and Collector crashes. I have tried uninstalling Collector and installing it again but still keep crashing. Can anyone help please? Kind regards, Hab

Hi All, I have a Web AppBuilder site that uses a secure service which is accessed with a username and password. The ArcGIS Server configuration setting are as shown in the image below: Every time I access the web mapping application or every time I refresh my browser, I get the Sign In box. Can anyone tell me how to configure the application so that the user can only sign in and his/her credential can be cached for the whole day? Thanks Hab

Hi All I have created a secure service (Using GIS Server Authentication Tier) on ArcGIS Server and published it as a web map in ArcGIS Online. I have created a web mapping application in WAB and when I launched the app from WAB the Sign In page displays and I am able to sign in using the username and password I have created in my ArcGIS Server Manager Configuration Settings. However, when I downloaded the app and copied it to the wwwroot directory and browse for the app, I cannot sign in using the same username and password. Is there any configuration I need to apply in order to sign in using the same credentials? Thanks

Hi All, I have a geodatabase which consists of about 100 feature datasets, and each feature dataset contains 2 to 4 feature classes (Please see an example of my geodatabase and its contents). I want to copy a polyline feature class (this feature class's file name in every feature dataset starts with "polyline") from every feature dataset to a new geodatabase as stand alone feature class. I want the new feature classes to be renamed as ("polyline_" + the name of the feature dataset). For example if the original feature dataset and feature class are "Dset4" and "Polyline10_3" respectively, the new feature class will have a file name of "Polyline_Dset4". I also want the new feature class to have less number of fields than the original feature class. Can anyone help me in writing the python script that can do these functions? Thanks in advance.

Hi All, I have tried to perform synchronization on the same handheld device, but this time I have connected my device with my computer using a USB cable and it is working fine. Hi All, I have performed synchronization successfully using ArcPad 10.2.2 on my desktop. However, I deployed the same application to a Mobile Mapper 20 handheld device and when I performed synchronization, I get the following error: \Program Files\ArcPad\System\Scripts\Common\rest.js(29, 3) 0x800c0005: Can anyone help please? Hi All, When I double click on an ArcPad .apm file from Windows explorer, I get an error message that the file was not found. But when I open the same file from from ArcPad it works fine. Is there any issue on opening an ArcPad .apm file from Windows explorer? Please note I'm using ArcPad 10.2. Thanks Hab

Hi Mohamed, It depends on your background. If you have a field of specialization, you can learn how to apply GIS in that field. If you are a beginner, it is better to work on some introductory GIS tutorials (For example ESRI Virtual Campus Training). It is good if you can have a look at GIS job vacancies and the required skills to help you understand the skills you need to have in order to work in the field of GIS. Hab
