Hello- Is there a way to quickly switch a guided tour from map focus to media focus, or vice versa? I saw that I can switch to an Explorer style map, but that is not really what I want. To be clear, I am talking about changing the "map tour" block to media - without completely redoing the whole thing. Thanks for your help.

I am creating a storymap using the new builder, and I am using the guided tour, media focus. On successive slides (with sidecar media between maps) my tour points re-label beginning at 1. What am I doing wrong? Other than this little snafu, I like the way it is starting to come together. owen evans‌ Thank you! Process: add guided tour layout/media focused, add map in the docked side panel/add location (attempt) Continue story/add sidecar with other media and text Continue story by trying to adding another guided tour layout, as above. Errors abound.

It does sound like this is what was happening to me before. Each map appeared to be set up correctly, but then I would go back to a previous view and it was all reset. I appreciate your attention to this, and your work around. If it gives me any more trouble, I will try adding a new map view independently each frame.

I believe I was doing this as you suggest last week, however, I followed these steps today and it did work correctly. I am unsure if I was doing it wrong before, or if there was some kind of glitch that self-corrected (probably the former). Thank you for your clear suggestion! I hope it continues to function for me.

Hello all, I am struggling with making a series of map views in the Cascade storymap using the Multi-View Map method shown by John Nelson in his How to Cascade tutorial here. I am following the directions exactly, but when I save and try to view it, the second and third map views default back to my original. What am I doing wrong here? Cascade app in progress: The Ashland Canal. The map series in question begins on about slide 4, and is supposed to continue for 3 map zooms with different information displaying. Thank you. Lea

I believe that the &edit in the url is what adds the edit capability. Can you remove the &edit and repost?

Thanks for your suggestions. Yes, the https issue was what I was trying to fix! I really don't want to recreate the story map. I believe we have already tried using the assistant, but the referenced photo location itself seems to have changed.

Windows 7 Professional. Excel 2016, Maps for Office version 4.1 It doesn't happen to me every single time, but does on occasion. I believe I am running all up-to-date programs. I just started using maps for office, so this was a surprise. Thanks for your help and insight!

I am new to this! Forgive me for this newbie question. I created a map in excel. I saved the document. I opened the excel doc on another day, signed in to my esri account but the map is no longer there. Is the map supposed to remain in the document, and if so, how can I find it again? Thank you!

I am attempting to update links to images (using the story map builder) in a map series so that it references https://, however most of the time the edit "pencil" icon in the corner does not open an edit window. Sometimes builder does not even show the edit icon at all! However, sometimes it works just fine. It is inconsistent and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am using Chrome, but I have also attempted to use firefox with the same results. Please see attached images-

Our air photo is a mosaic dataset, and I cannot figure out where to add this to my Pro 'MapProject'. The application doesn't "see" it in my raster geodatabase. I also tried importing a map from an mxd that had the photo mosaic as a layer, and it did not come across. How can I add my mosaic raster? Thank you for your help-
