Please see my other post outlining what I need - I was hoping to do it all via Python API. I'm struggling to understand how to deploy the script I have (nearly) working on my local machine -which has both ArcGIS Desktop and Pro on it - onto a server that has no Esri products.

Hello I'm attempting to write a script that I hope can be ran every 15mins using Microsoft Task Scheduler. Please can someone tell me: Do I require ArcGIS Pro and/or Portal on that machine - pretty certain I don't but just checking.

Hello I am attempting to create a new Group Template within ArcGIS Pro. My hope is to recreate the existing templates that come along with the Water Utility Network Editing solution. Specifically this solution contains an ArcGIS Desktop MXD that contains a series of pre-configured group templates that, with a single click, allow a user to: create a water meter (point) create an associated lateral (line) split that lateral with a curb stop valve (point) connect to the nearest water main Using the below Group Template with Builders in ArcGIS Pro I am close to what i want, however: This requires the user to draw a line, connecting the end to the water main. I need the lateral to be auto-created simply from dropping a point. The curb stop gets placed correctly, however it fails to split the single lateral line into two - how is that achieved? Any help, guidance, advice or encouragement is gratefully received.

Hello I'm looking to understand how to expand on the Batch Geocoding example and batch geocode from an existing CSV file that contains addresses but also other attributes. Furthermore I really would like my Geocoded results to get Added to an existing Feature Service as described here. Any help is greatly appreciated. A

I have this issue to but I DO get an error, namely: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3>python -m arcgis.install C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\Python\envs\arcgispro-py3\python.exe: Error while finding spec for 'arcgis.install' (<class 'ImportError'>: No module named 'arcgis')

Does your script link to an address locator running off an instance of ArcGIS Server? If so, can I see a sample? I want to be able to do the same thing.... Thanks

@Thomas Hamill It looks to me that there aren't enough fields in your pulldata*() calculation - in my experience it requires: pulldata('CSVFileName','MatchingFieldNameinCSV','ValueFromCSVIwanttoPullBack',${FiledInMyForm})

Hi I'm trying to submit a survey back to a hosted feature service as described here. However I am receiving the below error. I believe it may be because my service contains both OBJECTID and GLOBALID - how do I represent these in my XLSForm?

Hi @Ismael Chivite, Thanks for the pointers above. Watching this video tutorial there is no mention of the anything needing to be added to the 'choices' tab. I thought that perhaps the "pulldata()" method magically made my list for me on-the-fly from the values in the csv source file. To get this working I had to make a list_name ('name') three rows long. The 'name' and 'label' columns in these rows got populated with the addresses shown in the video tutorial. What "pulldata()" really does is match you chosen 'name' to the csv and then pull the 'owner' and/or 'phone' values from the csv to populate your form.
