Please consider adding both a population pyramid and tree diagram widgets into the operations dashboard software. An example of the population pyramid is here on page 5: http://www5.mississauga.ca/research_catalogue/L_7_2011_Census_Ward_1_Profile.pdf Our plan is to publish the latest Census through both a story map and dashboards. The story map will tell the story of the census, while the dashboards will serve up the relevant information by geography. And these will be combined into one seamless experience. An additional enhancement would be the Tree Diagram (seen lower left): http://www7.mississauga.ca/documents/pb/opendata/2018/O_21_2018ExistingLanduse.pdf I find that this is an effective at a glance measure for displaying quantity.

I tested this issue on one of my current maps and it doesn't appear that the issue has been resolved yet.

Kelly, I am not able to host the template locally. Do you happen to know when the next release of Online will be? I have several maps I would like to apply the new template to, but will not do so until this issue is resolved. Thanks

Kelly, The active tool is set to none, which is what I would like. As a test I created a web map using the Esri Map Layers that are provided and selected a dataset from the Demographic and Lifestyles sub section and the "none" as the active tool worked.

I am configuring an application template through ArcGIS online. The template allows you to select which tools will be included and you can specify the active tool as well. I would like the Active Tool to be None - but even with None selected the Basemap Gallery is displayed. I found this thread on GitHub (https://github.com/Esri/Viewer/issues/34) but the suggestion of clicking the edior/display editor toolbar did not work for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if there was a database of rule files that I could download and import into the scene that I am creating. I am very new to CityEngine and have not created my own rules, but rather used the elements from the International City.cga file. I wanted to add other elements such as a metro/train station, parks, sports fields etc. but have not been able to find any. Any help/direction would be appreciated. Thanks

I am creating a New Network Dataset through the Network Analyst tool. When I get to the driving directions setting I click Yes but receive the following error. "The direction settings are not read for the following reason: A primary or alternate 'Name' field is not specified for an edge source. File Name. You can edit the settings or choose not to use directions." I have tried to change a few options but still have had no luck. Any thoughts on how I can get the directions to function properly? Thanks!

A member can override the setting in their own profile. Have them check there. Thanks, Mike Mike, If the public were to view the map, which is the goal as it will be posted on the web, they will see it in miles and not km. The reason I noted the other people in my organization is that we are on the same server and location and it is displaying differently. I was thinking the mi/km might appear differently depending on the server the user is accessing the map from. Thanks, DK

I have created a Web Map and a Web Mapping Application. On my computer the scale bar is displaying in KM, and I have changed the units to Metric for the Organization. However when the maps are posted to the web I continue to see the scale bar in KM, however my colleagues in the same organization are seeing the scale bar in MI. Can someone explain why this is occurring, is there another setting I need to change? Thanks in advance!
