Why is there not an easier methodology for users to export data in experience builder (AGO). I have a simple app with a dozen different toggle filters. I want users to be able to set the filters and export data. Why isn't there just a simple export data widget? Seems I need use an unrelated widget and then rely on users figuring out to click the buttons in the upper right to open the export tool?   -Ben ... View more

Hello,  I'm in the process of building a collection of historical maps hosted on ArcGIS Online and wanted to reach out for advice on best practices as far as layer performance goes.  I've been messing around with hosting the maps as tiles layers vs tiled imagery layers and seem to be leaning toward the tile layers as text seems to render better.  (regardless of resample type used).  Thanks! ... I don't understand why the add data widget within experience builder requires so many clicks. I'm trying to replicate a webapp I have where I have fed through a curated data group to an add data widget, the user simply has to click "add" and a dataset is added directly to the map. 1 click. Im trying to replicate the same thing in Experience Builder. First the user needs to click "Add data", then click the dataset they want, and then done. (three clicks so far). Then the user needs to click the 4 dots (Action button) and then "Add to map". 5 clicks. And this is assuming that the user can figure out to click the 4 dots action button, so far it seems that most cant. Am i missing something??   ... View more

Hello,  I am new to using Javascript and i'm trying to change this ESRI example to use a click event as input for the query rather than a view change.    The code i've been working on can be found here:  https://codepen.io/bmittler/pen/jORYZOR  I seem to be have issues with the for loop, im guess that data isnt being fed into the for loop correctly but im not sure why.    Any help is appreciated.   Ben ...
