How do you get an offline map to display in Quick Capture? I can successfully set the correct map and it displays with the proper data while my tablet is connected to wifi, but when I am offline the map doesn't load. I did set the webmap to allow offline maps to be downloaded and created some offline maps, but I'm not sure how to get them to display in quick capture when I am offline. See attached screenshot. Thank you.

I have a point layer with symbology defined by a field that contains about 20 weed species names. Each species has its own symbol. I'd like to change the shape of all the species' symbols but retain the colors. Is there any easy way to do this without manually adjusting the color and shape each time? A solution in ArcGIS Pro would be ideal. Thanks!

We have a button that starts a track log (line data). We cannot configure button user input for the line data. We've tried multiple data types (coded values, single line text, etc). Everything seems fine in Designer, including glancing at the JSON. When you open the project on a mobile device to capture data, and click on the button to begin taking a line, there is no pop-up dialogue box to enter the button user input data. We've tested this a bunch, including using different line feature layers. Button user input isn't working with any line feature. However, button user input can be configured successfully for point data in the same project. We haven't tried with any polygons. The projects we've tested all populate data into a single hosted feature service. I believe the feature layers are all set up appropriately. We also tested project user input for line features and it works as expected. Any ideas?

When adding a button user input with coded (domain) values there is no ability to scroll down beyond the extent of the browser window if there are many domains. Our work-around has been to use tab on the keyboard. Short lists work fine.

No I didn't use the JSON editor. I may have opened the window, but I didn't make any edits.

Here's what the problem data look like in QuickCapture. I hit the button for two different species and they both show up in this map view as Teasel. Interestingly I have a different button in a different grouping that displays the correct data on the map view. Below is what my project looks like at the moment. The TRISUB button in it's own group showed up correctly in the map view but all the buttons in the Other Weeds group shows up as "Teasel" regardless of which button is pushed. Thanks!

I have a project collecting noxious weed treatment data using QuickCapture to collect points. Currently I've configured QuickCapture to have multiple buttons which each record a different species. The buttons record a point and populate the species code and date fields. The species code is populated correctly when uploaded to AGOL. However when data are reviewed in QuickCapture prior to sending it to AGOL, they show incorrect data for the species code field. When reviewed the data always show the same species in the species code field regardless of which button is pressed to record data. This problem prevents the field workers who are collecting data from reliably reviewing and editing their data before sending to AGOL. Since the data are correct when sent to AGOL I'm guessing it's a problem within QuickCapture itself. If it's not a bug, what can I do to fix it?

It would be great to add a feature to QuickCapture that would allow users to fill out a form at the beginning of a fieldwork session and have that data populate the attributes of each point they capture in a session. In my specific case I would like herbicide applicators to be able to input the herbicide they're using before they initiate spraying and using QuickCapture to record treatment locations. That herbicide information would then be populated into the fields associated with every point they take because it will not change throughout the day. Other valuable information would be the applicator's name, weather conditions, application method, etc. Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's input on this. I'm circling back to working on this now. Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial to set up a data capture project in Quick Capture?

Thanks for the reply Dan. I think what you linked me to are all bluetooth gps receivers, right? I'm not looking for a bluetooth gps receiver- the internal gps on the ipad is accurate enough for me. I just need a big button that any crew person can hold in one hand that will send a bluetooth signal to Collector running on iOS to record a point (the Ipad would be in a knapsack). Attribute data for the new point in Collector would be populated by duplicating the attribute data of the previous point. I'm guessing this is a pretty specialized need and nothing like it exists.

I'm hoping to use collector on an ipad to collect weed location data while simultaneously spraying the weeds. An individual crew person can collect over 200 points (gps records) a day while spraying. Often these records will have exactly the same attribute data but in slightly different locations. I would love to have a bluetooth piece of hardware that fits easily one hand. This hardware would essential just tell collector to record a point at it's current location and paste all the attribute info from the last recorded point. It is important that the hardware is easily operated by one hand because the person's other hand will be holding a spray wand. Does anything close to that type of hardware exist?
