just Nutanix on-prem. With ArcGIS Online, we use that for all of our public facing stuff, and publish webmaps from our on-prem arcgis services through there. In terms of ROI, I don't have alot of info on that, but I know that nutanix has been significantly easier for our network team to manage vs. vmware.

Heath, We switched our VM stack to Nutanix about two years ago now I believe. It's been a great system for us. We have a multi-machine environment that makes up our ArcGIS Enterprise, and it all runs just fine on Nutanix. We migrated everything from VMWARE. I don't recall any specific hiccups related to the GIS architecture. Our setup is probably closest to your Option 2 there, albeit with a few more servers

Not an answer to your question, but just making sure that you are aware if you are running a Windows environment, for 10.9.1, patching of portal and enterprise is at a bit of a standstill with an issue discovered with the patching process. https://support.esri.com/en-us/patches-updates/2023/defective-arcgis-enterprise-patch

Does it make any difference if you have your script stop the service first before republishing?

If you use the WAB Developer version, you can import this custom widget that Robert Scheitlin created: https://community.esri.com/t5/web-appbuilder-custom-widgets-documents/elevation-profile-widget-version-2-24-8-3-2022/ta-p/910158

Just a shot in the dark, but it seems like you only mention checking GDBPROD.DBO.PE_Mets for the column PEW_ID. However, the errors are referring to two different feature datasets, the first being GDBPROD.DBO.PE_Meters. Have you tried checking versions of the PE_Meters datasets for that column name as well?

Is this in ArcMap you are trying to do the editing from? since your GDB is not versioned, I'm wondering if you have the "Edit Versioned Database" option checked in your editing options by accident?

I just used the standard Python 3.10 install package from python.org. Its the full install, just used all of the defaults, and then pointed the script to the python.exe as mentioned in the docs. https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3101/ I uninstalled it from our Data Store servers after I was done.

Ran these scripts against our 10.6 Portal, Data Stores, and Server installs today, and the process went smoothly. I had to install python 3 on our Datastores, but it was a very easy process to follow. I uninstalled python on those machines after it was finished. Just wanted to say thank you to the ESRI team for the fix, documentation, and transparency.

I would load your network dataset directly into arcmap, and solve routes for it there. That will take your web application out of the equation. If it is still not displaying the shortest route, then you know that is either related to the data or the configuration of the network dataset.

ericanderson, This is very helpful, thank you for sharing! Weblink URL queries are a great and easy way to get started on an integration, as you can drill down to the repository, folder, or document level just by passing a URL. I do like your command line option with the client though...I'm sticking that one away for future use.
