Hi Mele, I don't know the CalTopo map you're referring to. Looks like those are animated flow vectors. Those cannot be generated from the station data you referred to. Flow renderer in AGOL requires raster data.

Hi @KatyAppleton1 Several people looked at this and we couldn't come up with a fix where colors, pop-ups, and export were all correct. So instead we republished the layer now the Map Viewer supports Unique Values for this data type. Please try this: https://arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b29f0641f97f45d1916118e78a9dfe95 We will add it to Living Atlas and deprecate the older version soon.

Hi @KatyAppleton1 and @HaydenWelch. We're looking into this. It's pretty tricky since there seems to be some discrepancy between the data which is integer and how Online and Pro are handling the value vs label vs color. The colors and values in the pop-up in Online do match with the original data (e.g., 14 really is 14). But the rendering is getting lost in translation in Pro and the Print Layout with that 1 class shift. Also, in your above example, Katy, it seems that Print may not be honoring the multidimensional selection since the classes have completely changed...not just the colors.

Hello - currently updating tiled imagery to support a real-time flow renderer is not supported. We agree this will be a great addition if/when it is.

Hi Edward, You are correct - it is a frequency issue. We update these maps twice a year. The next one goes out at the end of October and does have Henderson Co, NV for sure.

Hello Min-Hung, The COVID-19 layer is a feature service that uses the same Aggregated Live Feeds methodology as many of the near real-time environmental layers found in Living Atlas. In short, we are downloading the latest data (from JHU), processing it locally, and publishing it as a hosted feature service. Every 20 minutes, the process is restarted and the service is overwritten with the latest information. The two layers that you linked are actually the same. JHU added additional information to the ArcGIS Online content item for inclusion in Living Atlas, but if you look at the REST, they are the same item ID. If you're interested in developing your own automated layers, there are two Learn ArcGIS lessons on implementing Live Feeds: Schedule Automated Near Real-Time Data Updates | Learn ArcGIS Update Real-Time Data with Python | Learn ArcGIS Cheers, Dan

Don't modify the time settings on the service, those are fine. Just add a definition query on the time attributes. I also responded to April's question below on that thread for defining a custom data/color range.

Best option is to run Create Random Raster and define the range of SST values you're interested. Make sure to use Min/Max. From there, choose your color palette, then export a Layer File. You can then apply that Layer File to any other layer and that will lock in the symbology so things are comparable.

When you choose one of the analytic processing templates (see above), the legend will change to the range. You can also get the values in the pop-ups. "None" is Degrees C and the other option is Degrees F. Does that help?

Hi Kathy, You can use either the time slider or a definition query on the date field to define a specific date. Cheers, Dan

Hi Sarah, Can you give us a bit more detail about this? Which application are you doing this in? Pro, AGOL, a web app? If the latter, there's probably some wiggle room. Otherwise there's always my favorite hack: post production.

Hi Landry, This is a pretty simple trick. Basically it’s a story map within a story map. To get the second level of tabs, copy/paste the URL from another story map into the content area for that tab. Add in &embed at the end of the url and it will strip the headers out. Cheers, Dan

Hi Kate, Can you give some examples of the layers you're looking to analyze? One important consideration is that you can only use Feature Layers in Insights. Web Maps, Image Services, Map Image Layers won't work. Cheers, Dan

Hi Isabel, There’s good news and bad news for this one: Bad news: we will be retiring these layers soon, so there’s no planned bug fix for them. Good news: If you run Copy Raster in ArcGIS Pro, you can change the symbology and publish your own web map. We have a more complete offering of the CMIP5 climate model outputs available as part of this Learn ArcGIS Lesson. Again, you can publish a map service to ArcGIS Online with your results. I am working on finalizing the details I created some contoured feature services based on that Learn data, and those are now available in Living Atlas https://livingatlas.arcgis.com/en/browse/#d=2&q=RCP Cheers, Dan
