Thanks so much for this arcade snippet! Sorry for my delay, it's been some time until I was able to circle back around on this project. I did some testing with the info you provided and this works great!! One thing to note - it appears this only works if 'Visibility' for the calculated fields is ON when the calculation is occuring. It doesn't look like map viewer forms supports hidden field calculations (not the end of the world just annoying.) Thanks SO much for this assistance, this saved the day for our project! Best, Amanda

Hello ArcGIS Pro Team, We'd like the ability to set the scale bar max value through a dialogue/properties. Currently clicking and dragging the box size is cumbersome and requires a degree of tedius precision to set the scale to the maximum you desire. In our opinion this would improve map making efficiency and be a great enhancement to the software. Thanks so much, Amanda Huber

Hey StoryMaps team and @OwenGeo , We recently found an issue where a core of our Audio files in our StoryMaps are no longer playing and are greyed out when viewing on an iPhone/iOS device across Safari and Chrome browsers. I tested on Android and have not seen any issues. I am currently using iOS 17.5.1 and is reproducable across iPhones and iPads. My colleagues have tested on their iOS devices as well and also are encountering issues. When viewing in the browser there are no issues playing the audio, and when previewing the StoryMap in "mobile mode" we don't see issues, but when opening the published story on iOS it's broken: This issue is affecting three of our public facing StoryMaps. We have opened an Esri support cases, #03679820. Here's a copy of one of the StoryMaps affected (we created a copy so we can fix the production ones: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/9340027d0b594910af3a9e89e548a021) Hopefully if anyone else is seeing this issue they'll also come across this thread. Thanks, Amanda Huber

Hi S123, When building a form through the web designer, it appears that only 31 characters are allowed on a 'Select Multiple' question's domain. When viewing the published AGOL hosted feature layer's schema, the field says it's character length is 1000 which contradicts what the S123 designer's schema says and the domain list is also not available which contradicts the premise of an AGOL item. In addition, there is no way to access the domain's "label" to view the readable name for that feature which causes issues whern rendering this information in dashboards or other applications. We're stuck with a truncated answer and there is no way to change this setting. Limited domain length: Not available in Please evaluate this funcionality in the web designer. Thank you, Amanda Huber

Hello ArcGIS Pro Team, Here are some enhancement requests that I have for the Layouts team: Layer Locking from Right Click Menu: Ability to Right Click > Lock Layout Layer : This makes it easy to quickly lock and unlock layers without needed to scroll through the TOC Layout Element Boundary When Locked: When an element in the is locked and selected in the TOC there is no visual indicator as to where it is within the layout. When locked, please show the element boundary. Vice versa, the ability to still select a locked element in the layout and see it hightlighted in the TOC. Example with locked map frame below (would like this for all element types): Show "Move" Cursor Crosshairs when zoomed out or create shortcut to show the Move Cursor: When zoomed out it's incredibly frusterating to try to select and move elements around, especially small ones. This is imparitive when looking at a layout as a whole and finding balance. Currently users need to zoom in far enough for the move cross-hair cursor to show up > move> then zoom back out to view layout. This is a request that I've been begging for a while now. 🤞 Right-click Paste to a specific spot: When pasting content from one Pro layout to another, it would be helpful to be able to control the location to where the paste applies. Currently when pasting, the content only shows up in the location of the prior layout. Please add a way to paste to a specific spot. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, I'm happy to add more details. Thanks, Amanda Huber

@ChrisUnderwood @Jianxia any update on this? This is quite a silly bug but really impacts our work. Please see the prior comment as well with the issue in the builder. Thanks, Amanda Huber

We're needing this same functionality. It seems like Esri's only option for this is indeed Survey123.

Hello, We recently created Attribute Rules in our enterpise SDE and published to our Enterprise Portal as a 'referenced service'. When editing in map viewer we see this error: It's unclear in the documentation for Pro if Enterprise Portal services support Attribute Rules since the doc only mentions AGOL- https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/overview/share-datasets-with-attribute-rules.htm#:~:text=Attribute%20rules%20are%20not%20transferred%20when%20you%20publish%20datasets%20to%20an%20ArcGIS%20Online%20portal. Asking for a friend! This was supposed to be our workaround to Map Viwer's forms not allowing for editabiliy and field calculations simultaniously Additional notes regarding our setup: We are using a SQL database, enterprise SDE Published with Pro 3.2.2 Enterprise Portal version 11.2 We are using “Immediate Calculation Rules” and here are the arcade expressions/configurations: Something else to note- these attribute rules are created on a related table. Users will be adding new related records as part of the workflow, both parent table and related table are in the same ‘referenced’ service with “add” and “Update” editing enabled. Thanks, Amanda Huber

Cross posting this question here too, with hopes someone has a creative idea for a workaround until Esri resolves this. Unfortunately the workaround doesn't quite work with our workflow, there's no use case for a toggle override. Our workflow- We have three types of observations. These observations are typically sequential in order based on the bird's nesting time-frame and all fields are editable -but- Sometimes volunteers don't get to a nest until observation 2 or 3 in which we need the prior observations's fields to to be calculated to our default (use the calculated expression). I don't see a good way to fit a toggle into this scenario with our workflow. Please let me know if you have any ideas. That being said, I think there are many use cases for this to be an enhancement that Esri implements as it's quite silly that calculations and editability can't both be in a form. Hello, This is a wild question and a last resort. My manager has removed the UC from our travel budget for this year and I'm looking to see if there's any way to attend the 2024 Esri UC in person outside of the student ambassadorship program? Curious if there are any other oppportunities out there or volunteer programs? Thanks, Amanda Huber

Hi @SteveCole thanks for that info, I'll definitely kudos that arcade post. That's an interesting workaround. I'm a little hesitant to use AGOL Assistant because it's technically " not supported by Esri" (last I knew), but just to confirm, ArcGIS assistant supports "in the current" as a query? Does the year need to be hard coded or is it dynamic (meaning it will update itself every year)? I'll do more digging to see the sql that you're referring to also. Looking forward to hearing what Russ has to say too. Thanks! Amanda Huber

Hi @RussRoberts , Thanks so much for your response, that's great to hear! To clarify your definition of "Date Only" and "Date Time"- I did some digging and we're working with a federated Enterprise service (coming from our SDE). At the SDE level this field is labeled as a "date" field but is "date-time" field. In the service, the field is defined as a "Date" type also: If I'm understanding correctly, when you refer to "date-time" that should be referring to the field type that we're using (defined at the SDE level), correct? If so, is there a reason we are unable to see the options you're suggesting we should see? We've been able to reproduce this behavior across other datasets that are also using SDE "date-time" fields. Update- Tested this workflow on an AGOL hosted feature layer as well (cut of the data) and we able to see the additional expression options. Unfortunately "in the last" still isn't quite what we're looking for thought. We're looking for "In the Current" such as current Year, current Month, or Current Day. Thanks, Amanda Huber

Hello ArcGIS Online Team, We recently stumbled into an issue where 'Calculated Expressions' and 'Editability' cannot exist together. This causes a fairly large issue for those who would like to auto calculate fields but still allow users to update/edit that field. Our specific use case is that some conditions allow for this field to be editable, and other conditions will create the auto calculate. Since this functionality does not work we are unable to go live with this portion of the workflow in the application. Please advise. Thank you, Amanda Huber
