Hi @BethanyScott, Thanks for your quick response! I just tested again following your suggestion and ahh this was the piece of the puzzle I was missing! That's good to know moving forward. Thank you for clarifying this. Are there other tools that also require "shape" to be selected to move forward into the output? Hello, We recently noticed when we add the tool "Select Fields" our Feature Layer output turns into an AGOL Hosted table instead: Based on my understanding of the documentation, it doesn't appear this should be the expected behavior: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/data-pipelines/latest/process/select-fields.htm Please correct me if I'm wrong! I tested this a few times and it resulted in the same output: When removing the tool and testing the output, the output is a Feature Layer as expected: Please let me know if I'm missing something. HI @MaxPayson, Thanks so much for your response! Good idea, I tested your workflow with the "Select Fields" tool and I was successfully able to view the fields with no server error (which is promising): That being said, when trying to preview the output in the pipeline, this server error popped up, it appears our "The ArcSOC process for this service may not have enough memory allocated to it." so that was great insight you provided. We've updated the javaHeapSize and it appears to be working correctly in Pipelines now 🎉 Thanks so much for your assistance, we appreciate it! Amanda Huber

Hello, According to the documentation appears that only AGOL Hosted services are currently supported by Data Pipelines. Our organization is using Distributed Collaboration to connect our Enterprise Portal with our ArcGIS Online account. When adding service that's been shared via distributed collaboration, we see a token issue in Data Pipelines (even though authentication has been passed when adding layer to Pipelines). Even when service via enterprise is shared Publicly we still encounter an Error- Please consider supporting these types of services as they are crucial for many organizations like ours. Hi there, I recently was looking for this functionality as well, and I believe I may have found a solution for you. Using the ArcGIS for Excel extension you can directly update the hosted table/feature layer through Excel! Here's a video demonstrating how updating the data in excel can also update the service which in this case is a AGOL hosted table connected to a Dashboard: Hope this helps! Best, Amanda Huber

Update: This has been formally logged as a Bug by Esri support: BUG-000177604. In addition, during the case there was the discovery of an additional issue. When the Administrator Owns the item, the greyed out issue goes away but they are still unable to update the data even though they have read/write permissions through OneDrive on the item-
