@JakeSkinner I've been having issues running this as a scheduled task since upgrading to 10.9.1. The backup completes successfully when WEbGISDr is run manually, but when run as a scheduled task it deletes the Temp folder contents before creating the backup package in the FULL folder. I opened a support ticket but they said it was outside the scope of support since the problem seems to be with Task Scheduler and not the WebGISDr tool.

I've been having the same issue since upgrading to 10.9.1. The backup completes successfully when the WebGISDr tool is run manually, but when run as a scheduled task it deletes the Temp folder contents before creating the backup package in the FULL folder. I opened a ticket with Esri but they said it was outside the scope of support since the problem seems to be with Task Scheduler and not the WebGISDr tool. I am using the files and process outlined in this blog article. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-documents/automate-arcgis-enterprise-backup/ta-p/914090

Thanks Jon for the detailed explanation, that helps a lot. Currently, we have the top two examples modeled with overlapping lateral lines which connect all the way back to the main. When creating a new utility network, will it construct these as a single complex edge feature, or will they be flagged as errors?

Thanks for the response. If I understand the feature restrictions correctly, I think my second snip above would be satisfied by creating three features. One connecting from the main to the split, then one connecting from the split to each service connection? However in the first and third examples, the features don't share a common endpoint. Will it allow a feature of the same asset group and asset type to be attached to the edge?

By default, will the water utility network rules allow a Water Line subtype Service to be connected to another Water Line subtype Service? Our system has several service laterals which split into two services, or are tapped off hydrant or fire service laterals. If this is not allowed by default, would the best solution be to remove that rule, or to model our data differently?

When using the Select Widget, it would be great to have an option that could filter the labels on defined layers, to show labels only for the selected features. Our staff often uses web appbuilder applications to select parcels or segments of pipeline and print quick maps to share information. They often mark up these maps afterwards with existing attribute information or labels that already exist in the map but just aren't drawn in the best place. This would create a cleaner and quicker way for them to label and share the selected features. If there is already another workflow for this please let me know.

Thanks Alix. Could I put a Target Delete Query in the code block to clear the table before appending or is this only for individual field calculations? It would be nice to run this each time we execute a data load to ensure relationships are maintained.

@AlixVezina is it possible to create and execute a data loading workspace to map fields from Geometric Network feature classes to Utility Network standalone tables? I am looking to translate fields from wHydrant and wSystemValve to the HydrantMaintenanceInspection and ValveInspection tables? If not, is it possible to use Ad hoc Data Loading - Append with Transformation?

We are working through the same issue. We have added some additional fields to the feature classes which are part of our business practice, and common across most of our geometric network feature classes. We are trying to avoid adding fields which will only be used by a few subtypes. We are trying to utilize the multiple alias fields such as designtype and designinfo which can house different attributes of the same data type across the subtypes. However we can't seem to find a way to distinguish the data when viewing it in the attribute tables, only through the maps when popups have been configured. I would love to hear any feedback about best practice or performance regarding this.

I am using Explorer for ArcGIS Beta 19.1.293 on Windows. I thought it ran on 100.5. Here's what it looks like after zooming in a couple of extents from when the layer first displays.

Hi Nick, Has there been any progress on this? I am trying to publish a mobile map package for offline use. All the point features display correctly and will scale with the map, but the lines and polygons are only drawn at the initial extent they turn on in the map then blur. I've tried both setting a map scale and using arcade for the symbology. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gavin Runyon GIS Specialist Helix Water District

Has anyone tried modifying this script and publishing it as a Web Tool? It would be great to use this as an executable script tied to a widget in Web Appbuilder.

Hi Kelly, Edit July 2018: Pop Ups do display in a specific order. With feature layers, the pop ups will display in an order corresponding with the feature layers in the Table of Contents. Map Image Layers and tile layers do not fall within this order. Does this only apply on ArcGIS Online, or in Portal as well? We're on version 10.6.1. Do the feature layers services have to be published separately, or can you order multiple layer services from the same feature layer? Thank you, Gavin
