I could only speak from my experience with Azure. For databases, avoid Azure Database. Instead, try Azure SQL Managed Instance. Also, in our experience, avoid Enterprise Cloud Builder.

We have experienced the exact same issue twice in the past 30 days. This may be related to windows recent security patches, but the actual cause(s) remains unknown. I think you may need: 1. Backup your Data Store manually using the Data Store tool 2. Uninstall the Data Store 3. Rename the DataStore folder under C:\Program Files\ArcGIS and the Data Store directory (ex c:\arcgisdatastore) 4. Install the Data Store 5. Restore the Data Store directory with your backup

Because it is a file geodatabase, it can works like folder. You should be able to place it on a network drive and set Sharing and Security on the folder level. It is recommended to create a window group for editors, writers, or creators of the data, and set Everyone's permission to allow Read. Your IT should know how to do it, if not ... Right click > Properties Sharing tab > Advanced Sharing > (Add/Modify users and/or groups) Security tab > Edit > (Add/Modify users and/or groups)

Can you set it via SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)? In SSMS, right click Modify and under Column Properties you can find the setting under Identity Specification.

If your current ArcGIS Server is on a VM, you could deploy 10.6 (why not 10.6.1?) to a new VM and switch.

One workaround is to create a database connection file (*.sde) on a different computer and transfer the connection file. In my case, ... The user can create the database connection file and connect to the database on a different computer. The user can create the database connection file and connect to a different database on the same SQL Server. The user has rebooted the computer without resolving the issue.

Thank you for the video here Administering your Enterprise Geodatabase using Python - YouTube . I happened to be working and tweaking a maintenance script. If I may ask a few questions here ... In the video, I saw the the sql account used by geodatabase admin by default had all the privileges - Select, Insert, Update, Delete. It does not seem to be what I see in the geodatabases I created. I follow this ESRI document (Privileges for geodatabases in SQL Server—Help | ArcGIS Desktop), and the sde account has following previleges - Create function, Create procedure, Create table, Create view, and View definition. However, sde only has Select privilege on all the tables and feature classes that users create. My questions are: First, should sde have all 4 privileges by default? Second, what additional privilege should I grand to the sde account to make 'that' by default? Also, is there a tool that would list all the geodatabases (excluding non-geodatabases) on a given SQL instance?

If you just want to add a circle (instand of a 'real' buffer), you could: var firstCircle = new Circle(center, {blah}); var secondCircle = new Circle(firstCircle.center, {"radius": (firstCircle.radius +/- whatever)}); If you want to create a buffer, I would recommend creating it via BufferParameters and GeometryService.
