We have been using Explorer paired with Survey123 for field data collection during fall and winter. I understand that Explorer will be retired in December of this year, but will it still function after this? Our Portal enterprise is currently being re-indexed and it is taking days rather than hours. My personal account does not display any content, but I can still publish to it, send data via an already downloaded form and view the data via ArcGIS Pro, etc. When I try to download a form onto a mobile device there list is empty. It brings up the question of whether or not you can sideload a form when your Portal account is down. Can you? Thanks. ... View more

An end user pointed out various behaviors that I wasn't seeing, such as having to completely re-enter a value instead of being able to edit it, not being able to tab between fields, etc. Turns out I had v 3.6 something and they were using the latest version (3.9.149) of it. When I installed this version and compared the data entry behavior to the Android version (3.9.149) they appear to be identical. We have been using Survey123 on Android tablets to capture harvest info including hunter phone number (with the body::esri:inputMask constraint of (999) 999-9999) with no problems. On December 17th I reduced the list of check stations in the form, republished it, updated Survey123 (3.7.56?) on the tablets and downloaded the updated form. During subsequent field data collection it was brought to my attention that attempts to enter a phone number resulted in skipping, overwriting and other misbehavior that rendered the field unusable. Updating Survey123 to the latest version (3.7.57) did not resolve the issue. Further testing indicated that any form with this phone number constraint works correctly if it was downloaded prior to the Survey123 upgrades I did on December 17th and December 20th. Using the most recent version of Connect (3.7.62) does not make any difference either. I am trying to create a live frequency table from a feature service, then join it to a spatial layer as part of a web map. The end game is to include this map in a Dashboard. Is there a limit to how many sent records Survey123 will hold? We will be doing a major sampling effort with multiple tablets in a couple of weeks and expect some of tablets having upwards of 200 sent records. We will be telling staff to never empty the Sent box as protection against missing records in the feature service. Related to this, has there been any movement on the enhancement of being able to disable emptying the Sent box? Thanks. ... View more

We are collecting samples from both harvested deer and opportunistic deer. When Method = Check station, Headbox or Taxidermist, we want to populate the Acquisition Type field with "Hunter harvested" without exposing it to the user. When Method = Other, then the Acquisition Type field is exposed to the user with a list of choices (e.g., road kill, found dead) that does not include "Hunter harvested".
