I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to join a table (that exists inside a FGDB) to a feature class (also in the same FGDB) from IDLE. The Python join command works in the ArcPro Python window, but does not execute correctly when run as a standalone script from the IDLE.

Thanks for posting the CTRL+ALT+M tip. That's the first I've heard of it. So far today I've had two 'hung' tasks - a 'save edits' (28.4 second delay), and a 'merge' (29.8 second delay). Do you know if this ArcGIS Diagnostic Monitor discloses a reason or cause for hung tasks?

I discovered two "fixes" for me. Combined, they made a world of difference in reducing the 'lag time' I experienced. Before I took these steps, there was a 20-30 second delay in ArcGIS Pro between switching tools (edit --> clear selected --> save) or switching commands. 1) Updated Graphics Card driver (mine was 6 months out of date) 2) Add ArcGIS Pro to the Windows 10 Defender "exclusion list" FYI, I'm running WIN 10 Pro, Intel i7-9700 3.00GHz CPU (8 cores 4.7GHZ max), 64-bit OK, 500GB SSD, AMD Radeon ProWX3200

Anyone have any luck solving this? I'm using ArcGIS Pro 2.4.3 and it does the same thing. I want inches = feet; not inches = miles. Thanks.

I have added the following idea to the GeoNet. Please find this suggestion and "up-vote" it to bring this to the attention of the development team. Export to EPS with VECTORS please!!!

I'm in the exact same situation. I'm now running ArcGIS Pro 2.4.1 and it still doesn't export correctly. Stuck using ArcGIS Desktop until they care enough to address this.

Good eye! Unfortunately, removing the marker doesn't change the results (I had already tried that before I posted). I'm also currently getting some assistance from J. Wright (Esri ArcGIS Pro development team) and have sent them the Map Package to investigate. Fingers crossed.

I'm using ArcGIS Pro 2.2.2 to export my maps to EPS format and they are being rasterized. I have 2 line features (no transparency) and 1 point feature (simple shape maker solid color, no transparency) that I am attempting to export. No background, no additional design elements, no basemap. Share | Export | Layout | EPS Line feature (3.0 thick, no transparency) Line feature (1.5 thick, no transparency) Point feature (simple shape marker, solid color, no outline, no transparency) When I use Share|Export|Layout|EPS --> I get a rasterized set of bitmaps, or "banding". These are strips of images and are not usable for what I am doing. What I want is EPS vectors that I can control in either AI or Corel, preferably Corel. I have used this export technique EXTENSIVELY in ArcGIS Desktop 10.X for years with success. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm trying to embed publicly available social media pages in my Story Map (Journal) main stage area but it doesn't seem to work. I don't get an error message, but it won't display the contents of the page either. I have tried to embed a Facebook page, a Twitter feed page, and an Instagram page. None of them work. All settings on the Story Map are "public" and the social media is loading over HTTPS. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

I'm trying to embed an AGOL web map 'simple viewer' app into my Cascade Story Map but it won't display the app. The app is set to 'Share Public'. Is this intentional? Why can this content not be displayed inside of a Cascade Story Map? All of this content is hosted on AGOL. No customized templates or self-hosted items. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I think the last sentence is the key one! Our executive director seems to remember that there was a standard way that one is "supposed" to do this. Not a stickler, but very detail-oriented. I'm intrigued myself now! I initially thought a simple google search would get me the answer, but so far it has not.
