configure pop-up with description from one field

When you configure a pop-up window for a map service using the "Description from one field" choice, the name of the field is suppressed. All you see is the value. It would be better to see the field name (or alias) in front of it. The value needs some context to be meaningful. Am I not seeing how to do this? It shouldn't be necessary to use the "Custom attribute display" choice to achieve this simple objective.

The option to display a single field attribute does not display the field name. It is meant for text that stands alone, like a description. To do what you want, you can choose the option to display a list of field attributes, but then only select on field attribute value to display. Click the button named "Configure attributes" to choose which attributes you want to display.
