Hey guys, I wasn't entirely sure where to put this question but anyway hopefully someone can help me.
I'm trying to create centroids for a layer with a few thousand polygons. The layer is also joined to another excel table. After I add my new "X" and "Y" fields and calculate the geometry for them, when I try exporting the table to create an XY event, ArcMap just closes and gives me the standard "ArcMap encountered a serious application issue and needs to close."
I'm not sure what the issue is. I guess maybe it's struggling to export a table that size? I mean it's not small but it could definitely be so much bigger.
Any ideas would be most apprecated.
