Workflow Manager Speed Issue

The workflow manager database I created is an SDE on a remote server. This was done so others may access the workflows, however, I noticed that it is a very slow process. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes for a step to be updated. Is this a common occurrence for everyone? Is there a way to quicken the process?

Hi Amanda,

This is not a typical problem of most Workflow Manager users. How remote is the Server? Do you typically have good network traffic in your organization and to the location of where your server is located? When you say a step runs for 10 minutes is this a simple step or a geoprocessing model and how long should it normally run for.
