Textsymbolizer possible in JSAPI ?

Hello All,

Can we insert text-symbolizer in map ?

Following is the situation :

I have US__States map in which I am displaying labels (State name). Let' say if I click on California then entire California will  get's selected and it should be zoomed to the center on the map.

My idea : If I insert text-symbolizer then "State name " should be auto highlighted in blue (similar to hyperlink) & when I click on "state name" the particular state should be auto highlighted..

Any help/ideas regarding this are highly appreciate ..

I think you'd probably get most of what you want using a TextSymbol.
