I'm trying to create a HEC-HMS model. I've created all of the necessary layers and rasters using a combination of spatial analysy, archydro, and GeoHMS tools.
Now I'm trying to perform the project setup. I clock project setup and data management and setup all layers up except for project area and project points which are left as null.
I click project setup and start new project. A window pops up, I click 'OK'. At this point the 2 layers should be created and the Defined a new project window should appear. Nothing shows up. I can't figure out why.

I'm running arcgis10.1 with geoHMS 5.0. I have tried starting a new map. I've made sure I'm not in edit mode. I can't think of what else to try. I'm not getting an error message. Its just that nothing is happening. Maybe I need to reinstall the extension? I haven't had any other issues with it.

I really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

I think I figured it out. It appears to be because I didn't specify a geodatabase in the HMS target in APutilities
