I am Looking at the layer Properties for a Raster Dataset We can click Symbology Settings Click Wind Barb And click Apply OK In the Northern hemisphere this is the standard convention However in the Southern Hemisphere The barbs need to stay at the same end of the line, just flipped from left to right. Has anyone created a layerfile that meets this requirement? - Does anyone know where these symbols are stored so we could perhaps make something custom? (Changing from From - To in the symbol settings does not acheive this aim it just flips the line.) Thank you

Hi Dan Thanks for your response - unfortunately using spaces doesn't work - it appears that you need to have preceding 0's to make it work

Hi there Working with a customer we sometimes need to do a calculation for example pow((${BasalDiameter} *50),.42)*.66 However this fails when we view in Survey123 Connect - Changing the calculation so that there is a leading Zero it works as expected. - Is this a known issue? pow((${BasalDiameter} *50),.042)*0.66 Edit- using Survey123 Connect 1.10.43 Windows 10

Hi there Looking at the Drone2Map Vertical Coordinate System We can use NZGD2000 NZ Transverse Mercator (2193) However we would like to use a local circuit for Vertical Coordinate System - but there are the following showing New Zealand Vertical Datum 2009 (NZVD2009) | Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) I note that NZVD2009 is supported in ArcMap However also we would like to use New Zealand Vertical Datum 2016 (NZVD2016) | Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) Is there a way to enter in a custom system? Thanks John P

Hi there I have a Feature Service that is roughly 1.5GB which I need to download and use for offline use. The data is hosted on ArcGIS Server 10.3 What I find is that if I want to download the full data set I get a timeout error. However if I create four webmaps (North / South / East/ West) and then make download each section I can get the data off the deivce and sync back correctly I use iOS collector and have replicated this on a few devices Are there any limits on size of Feature Services that you can download. I do know that there are limits on what you can download for the basemaps. Thank you John P

Update from Esri Support BUG-000099505: In some browsers, the LocateButton widget does not disappear or gets disabled when a JavaScript application is loaded over HTTP. However, development has closed this bug as this is not technically an Esri issue. Here is their public explanation: " This is a browser specific behavior. Note on https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2016/04/14/increased-web-api-security-in-google-chrome/ it states, "...some of the HTML5 web APIs require websites to be using a secure origin like HTTPS to work correctly." Therefore, I would look at some of the solutions outlined in the blog and depending on where your data is hosted, adjusting the security parameters.

I have a use case and was wondering if this is possible. (User will be out of range of Cell Phone or WiFI coverage.) They would like to incorporate a webmap with a couple of feature layers outlining the area of interest and some point layers with instructions (and attachments) Is it possible to have this Map in Survey 123 and the users can query the features? Then fill out Survey responses accordingly? I do see that there are some options to have offline maps as tile packages but are there limitations to these? -A couple of ideas that I had was to use ArcGIS Collector and take the Map offline and switch between the two Applications -Take a JPG image of each area and then incorporate it as a field in the Survey Thanks

Hi everyone I have been unable to find any documentation - however is there a file size limit on what you can download from ArcGIS Online? Workflow Feature Service on ArcGIS Online > Export to FGDB Successful Download FGDB from Item details > File size ~2GB Download completes and then when attempting to unzip it fails (says it is corrupt) Export Replica from ArcGIS Online Rest Exports to FGDB Successfully File Size ~2GB and unzips correctly Tried this on a few Feature layers of this size and same results. Has anyone else had similar results?
