Hi @KoryKramer - brilliant tool, and necessary for being able to easily document Geodatabase design. This sort of function is often overlooked in Product Plans for some other interface tools - when in reality it is a more essential part of design which ultimately more often leads to the success of a project, especially larger Enterprise solutions. Too often in GIS this type of tool is overlooked. Nothing can substitute for good planning, and communication of the plan.

Hi Peoples, Answer is here. This article provides a current status on Esri's certification of Windows 11 for ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap. FAQ: Is Windows 11 certified with ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap? "Our goal is to complete this certification testing in early 2022." Cheers, Mark

Hi Dan, Our user base are getting notifications from Microsoft their computers are ready for the Windows 11 upgrade, so they are asking if it is OK to proceed. (With Covid and working from home arrangements mainly, not in our core office environment) Considering Esri are not currently certified - looking for a more definitive time frame. Cheers, Mark

I revisited this recently - it has been a few years and things change. From what I can see, if you have data in SQL Server native, then you can use ArcGIS Query layers to read the data. There are a few caveats around having a unique integer ID, field types being compatible and having only one data type per table (point, line or polygon). Probably issues with coordinate system definitions as well. To edit the data you need to publish it through ArcGIS Server as web feature layer. This is one of the better references: Databases and ArcGIS

It's an old thread - but for completeness the ArcGIS now supports connecting to Microsoft SQL Server databases on Linux. You can also create geodatabases in SQL Server on Linux. In addition, you can connect from ArcGIS Server on Linux to SQL Server on Windows or Linux. Introduced in 10.6 What's new in ArcGIS Server 10.6

Hi Peoples, Has anyone successfully used the Manage Tile Cache tool to delete tiles from a cache? I just used it, constrained it to an area of interest, and it blew away not just the area of interest, but a whole lot more in the upper levels. Completed stuffed it. I can't work out how to rebuild the areas it stuffed. Am I missing something here? The original cache was build from importing individual caches using the Import Tile cache tool in a model with a raster iterator. I think the only way I can fix this is a rebuild, which I am not happy about. Cheers, Mark

Thanks Gordon. As I was using .ecw the Extract Bands gave a result that was not 0 or 1. I got around this by doing a Reclass. Using the GP Raster to Polygon on the reclassed raster gave the footprint. I could then simplify and shrink as required.

Hi Peoples, I have a number of ECW rasters that contain an alpha band that acts as a transparency mask. I would like to calculate footprints for the rasters. I can't see how to specify to use just the value of the alpha band to achieve this. Anyone done this? https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/imagery/raster-display-ribbon.htm Cheers, Mark

This functionality is critical to our workflow, so would be much appreciated. While it is possible to get some details of cache completion from ArcGIS Server Manager, the result is not as complete as the information currently supplied in ArcCatalog. I have seen information in the forum may be able to be returned from the ArcGIS Pro Job Status - but I think this is only from the owner that started the job.

Hi Jianxia, The current time slider works well. We have an index that represents an aerial photo index over time, so we can use the slider to filter the index see when the photos were taken. One bug that is problematic is that if the widget is in a map and another widget is selected, the time slider filter is dropped. One needs to have the time slider filter applied, and still be able to use other widgets in the map - so make sure that functionality works. If the widget is set to be applied automatically when the app is opened, make sure it also works on mobile devices in this way (could be a bug in the current one). Cheers, Mark

Hi, I have run the System Log Parser. On the Request Performance Tab for the Top 500 slowest requests I see a lot of /legend requests. When I send a REST /legend request to the service, it responds well. Any idea what may be causing this? Could it be an app like ArcGIS Pro? Cheers, Mark

Hi Peoples, Brilliant tool. This got me out of trouble a while back when ArcGIS Server came crashing down and we needed to pin point the services to focus on. Invaluable. Please note that with the changes to GeoNet, the link to download on this site no longer works. Cheers, Mark
