Alternatively, you could project the dataframe. And calculate geometry (length) using the projection system of the data frame in the attribute table.

Hi Luke, You need to register the SDE database from "Register Database" option in Data Store (apart from Managed database). Once registered, I hope it will resolve the issue. Thanks, Jay

Hi Dean, I guess, You cannot add the geodatabase feature classes on the map, even if you have added it to "My Content". The goal of adding the native GIS data formats is to share the data for download by the shared group. You can add shapefile (zipped) with upto 1000 records on your Map. Else, sharing the services would be the optimal option. Thanks, Jay

Hi Timothy, First, close all applications and restart ArcGIS Server Service. I hope an SDE user has been created for the database you want to register ( Create Enterprise Geodatabase ). Connect to the database from ArcCatalog using the SDE user. Once connected successfully, right-click the geodatabase > Properties. Copy the .sde path and use this path to register the database in ArcGIS Server Manager. Thanks, Jay

Hi Mike, Please check and confirm the following: 1) What is the ver. of ArcGIS for Desktop and Server? 2) Have you configured ArcGIS Server with Web-Adaptor? 3) Are you able to ping the ArcGIS Server machine by hostname from the Desktop machine? Optionally, you could also try replacing the hostname with the ip address. Thanks, Jay

Hi Chris, As far as I know, you can not modify FGDB with Basic license. Here are the two workarounds. 1) Upgrade to at least standard license (You don't want it). 2) Export the feature classes in FGDB to PGDB/Shapefiles using the Standard license that you have. Then, you can modify the PGDB/Shapefiles. Thanks, Jay

Hi Jim, Would you like to use the same anno layer in multiple maps/services? Then, it is wise to save it as a geodatabase annotation. You could also define its visibility scale range from the layer properties. Thanks, Jay

Hi Mody, You could create a new field (say NewID with the datatype Long). Copy the values of ObjectID to NewID using field calculator. You can create an attribute index for the NewID field. Try sorting the table using NewID field. Thanks, Jay

Hi Matthew, Till the next build comes, here is a bit tedious but worthy workaround you could try. First, in Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Explorer\basemaps\Server and rename the nmf and its corresponding png files. 1) Navigate to Basemap dropdown. 2) Click on Manage My Base maps... 3) Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Explorer\basemaps\Server and select the base map that you want to add. 4) Click on Open button which will show you the thumbnails of the map. 5) Click on close and then you can add the base maps from My Base map options. 6) You will find the base maps added by you in Base Map dropdown. Hope it helps!!! Thanks, Jay
