Hi John, You could sign-in to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap. Then with your MXD file ready to get published, go for File > Share as > Service. Follow the instructions in the wizard. In Service Editor, change the capabilities to feature access. Then go to Parameters > Properties. Increase the maximum no. of records returned by the server (By default, it is 1000).

Hi Bernard, It could be a firewall issue. Asrujit is right. Go for an offline authorization. Save the text file and mail it to [email protected] . You will get the license file on your mail from Esri. Use the steps mentioned in that mail to authorize the license.

Ali, You need to georeference it. I don't see any other alternative. The DWG file doesn't possess any spatial reference. Convert it to feature class. Define WGS84 UTM Zone 35S as its spatial reference from ArcCatalog. Bring them to ArcMap with any referenced data already present (which can be used for geometric correction of the new feature classes). Selecting both the point and line features, use Editor (move, scale and rotate) to correct your data.

Ali, Seems to be a projection issue. In what format is the CAD file (DWG, DGN)? Any additional file present (.WLD/.PRJ) with the CAD file? Open a Blank Map. Try opening a basemap with correct projected coordinate system first to the data frame. Add your data. Is it located in the correct area? If not, maybe you would like to georeference the data.

Hi Zubher, First, add a field to the feature class (ClusterName). Define the values from Cluster1 to cluster6 (using FieldCalculator) in that field. Then, Go for Dissolve tool based on ClusterName, as suggested by Neil Ayres. Note: Make sure the polygons that you select for a single cluster are located adjacent to each other, since you want six polygons.

Hi Ali, The default units of GCS ITRF 2005 is Deg. Decimal. The values in your table is not in Deg. Decimal. They seem to be in linear units. Make sure to define the correct Projected Coordinate System to while creating points from XY table.

Hi Aswin, Try the following: 1) Create a Mosaic Dataset (Data Management). Define the spatial reference as Plate Carree. This will create an empty mosiac dataset. 2) Add the above rasters to the mosaic dataset.

Hi Albert, Just a guess. Excel to Table was supported from ArcGIS 10.2 (Python 2.7.5) onwards. Could you install the Python 2.7.8 that comes with ArcGIS 10.3 setup. Then run a repair for ArcGIS Desktop. Let me know if the issue persists.

Hi Fiona, I had faced this issue a couple of years back. From what I learnt, you can not publish a Map Service with Server basic License. You need to have at least a Server Standard license.

Hi Robin, The web-application module in ArcGIS Server is no longer available from ArcGIS 10.1 onwards. If you are upgrading to ArcGIS 10.3 for Server, you would be eligible for Portal for ArcGIS (subscription based), where you can create web-applications with ease. It also gives you multiple templates to choose from. Also you can do a bit of customization using webapp builder, which is integrated with Portal. Contact your local Esri distributor to avail the Portal for ArcGIS and to know its licensing policy. Apart from Portal for ArcGIS, you can also create your application using ArcGIS Viewer for Silverlight or ArcGIS Viewer for Flex.
