Hi Keith, To identify the cell values of a raster in an application or webmap, one needs to publish the raster as an image service (not a Map Service). Unfortunately, you can not publish an image service directly to AGOL. This capability is not available with AGOL. An ArcGIS Server is required to publish an image service. Actually J J is publishing service to AGOL account. He cannot (doesn't need to) connect to AGOL via Connect to ArcGIS Server. He can just sign-in to AGOL from ArcMap (File > Sign-In). And start publishing (File> Share as > Service). ... View more
