From IIS Manager, export the self-signed certificate as *.cer file. Now, install the certificate (*.cer) in the machine and when prompted, Place all certificates in the following store, and store it in "Trusted Root Certification Authorities". If required, you could install web-adaptor, and configure it with ArcGIS Server.

Hello Lara, Portal for ArcGIS Account is new in 10.4 (Similar to arcgis account, when we configure ArcGIS Server). This is not the initial administrator account. The password should be in accordance to the Windows password policy. Try keeping a long string as password that includes Alphabets, numbers and special characters. Let me know if it works.

If the layer is a part of a basemap layer, you won't get the option of setting the data source. Copy the layer outside the basemap layer, change the data source of the independent layer, and replace it back to the basemap layer.

Hello, I got a query from one of our clients where the scenario is similar to the given link: arcgis server - Unable to access webadapter 10.2.2 through JBoss EAP 6.1.0 - Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchan… I am working on ArcGIS for server 10.3 for java but facing some problem related to webadaptor. I have successfully configured webadaptor with JBoss EAP 6.1(Standalone mode) and able to access it from its url (http://x.x.x.x:8080/arcgis/webadapter) but the problem is that 1. After changing the port of JBoss server to 80, webadaptor is not accessible from url. when I reconfigured webadapter with some other name for eg. geoservice (http://x.x.x.x/geoservice/webadapter) its working fine. My question is that cant we use same webadaptor with JBoss server running on different ports? 2.when we restart jboss server, webadaptor which was previously configured stopped working. Looking for your support. OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Any idea what could be causing the issue? Let me know if any more information is required about the deployment?
