It uses a CA certificate (InCommon Server CA). However, both web adaptors to my 10.3.1 server and my 10.2.1 server are setup on the same webserver and site and thus both use the same certificate. As mentioned, the 10.2.1 services work in both iOS and Android versions of Collector but ONLY the 10.2.1 services work in the iOS version. It seems unlikely to be a certificate issue. Our portal is stand-alone but both Portal and both the 10.3.1 and 10.2.1 servers are configured to use Active Directory for both users and groups. Portal is additionally configured to allow anonymous access and all editable feature services are secured. And yes, the account I'm logging into the device with has the necessary privileges to use those services. Thanks!

Is anyone else experiencing issues when trying to use feature services on ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1 with the iOS version of Collector (v10.3.5)? I originally thought the issue might have been with ArcGIS server (see Missing Layers). However, I've since been able to test on the Android version of Collector (v10.3.4) and feature services from our 10.3.1 ArcGIS for Server work just fine. This is a somewhat urgent issue for us as approximately 95% of workforce (~100+ devices) are iOS devices and this is preventing us from completing our migration to ArcGIS for Server 10.3 from 10.1. Thanks, Jade

I was finally able to test on the Android version of Collector (10.3.4) and my editable feature services from my 10.3.1 ArcGIS Server work just fine. It appears this issue seems to be limited to the Collector for iOS (v10.3.5). Is anyone else experiencing similar issues trying to use services from a 10.3.1 server with the iOS version of Collector?

Hello, We are running ArcGIS Server 10.3 and trying to deploy several Operational Views using Operations Dashboard which all suffer from a problem related to errors when trying to execute statistic queryies. Whenever the operations view executes the statistics query, or when we use the MapServer/layerId/query rest endpoint to attempt a statistics query we get the 'Operation could not be completed' error message and in our server logs for the service we get the 10837 general geodatabase error code with the descriptive and highly helpful 'general geodatabase error' message. Our services are using query layers on Oracle 11gR2 and I'm pretty sure statistics on query layers is supported. The service endpoint 'supportsStatistics' parameter is true. Is there any way to log the actual SQL statement sent to the database? The query layers are built on views inside oracle and knowing what SQL is being sent to the database would be highly useful. Are there any other suggestions for troubleshooting this? Thanks! Jade

So, the layers from the 10.3 server are being included in the json for the web map and I updated the sharing to no avail. I am next going to try adding the layers to portal as items and then add to my map.

I'll definitely check that and looking at the json (hadn't thought of that). However, I'm adding the layers to the map directly ('Add from web') so I think they would inherit the same sharing as the map itself. Also, I just used the online assistant to change the service url's to the same service published on our older server and when I reload the map in Collector, everything works just fine. Also, I'm logged into my portal in Collector with the same account I'm using to create the map but I'll double check the sharing anyway. Oh, and no, testing on an iPhone 6.

Sorry, that was misleading. The webmap is visible in Collector. So, Collector knows the map has an editable feature service in it so why it won't actually display those layers (neither on the map or in the table of contents) is beyond me.

Okay, I verified the map is not set to offline. I checked in the portal item properties, is there another location to check? You said "On the device" but I'm not sure where I look for that. I suspect as the map is not offline enabled, the option to go offline doesn't exist. The feature services in the map are "real" urls (fqdn's) and not localhost. It is a new map for the 10.3 services, the basemap is actually a 10.3 service and works fine. In fact, if I understand the documentation correctly, I should even see the map listed in Collector on the iOS device if Collector didn't recognize that it had editable layers. Finally, I have also enabled versioning and that does not work either.

Hello, We've created several collector applications so far and things have been working great. We are using an onsite portal and ArcGIS Server 10.2.1. However, we recently deployed an ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1 site and when we try to include services from this new site, they do not show up when we open the map in collector. In other words, the if I publish my service on our older 10.2 server, the layers work just fine including related records. If I then publish the same service (same mxd, same underlying data source) to 10.3, the layer will not show up in collector. My suspicion is that I am going to have to version my data for it to work in 10.3 even though I did not have to do this in 10.2 (server). Can anyone confirm this? Thanks, Jade
