I'm just starting to wade into AppStudio, so I have a pretty basic question about this workflow. I should probably test first to see, but since the 'Player' app on a handheld device needs to reach out to Portal/AGOL to grab the uploaded App, is this workflow actually offline? Or can you grab the App from Portal/AGOL onto your device once when you have connectivity, and subsequently launch it in offline mode without needing a connection to Portal/AGOL?

The preview functionality might be one method of doing this, Barnaby, but I've had success in the past using the WABs built-in URL parameter functionality with LocalLayer layers. Give it a try! Use URL parameters—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers

It should; The 3D widget was originally created for the 2.4 builder. Feel free to give it a try, certainly.

It's looking like it has to do with the Tiled layer in your config; For some reason, the 4.x version of the Javascript API doesn't seem to support Popups on Tile Layers, which doesn't seem right to me. I removed the Tiled layer from the config and the app loaded as expected, but I'll do some digging to see what might be going on.

Thanks Barnaby. The experience you're having certainly isn't what I'm seeing on my end, so feel free to send the configuration file you're using to my gmail so I can try to reproduce the behaviour.

Hey Barnaby, glad to hear you had initial success with the 2D version of the widget. For the 3D, I find that once I toggle the 'eye' on to make the widget visible in a new 3D app, the globe will replace the basemap with a grey grid, and when I zoom in slightly the Delorme basemap in the LocalLayer demo layer set shows up. I think this is just due to the avaiable scale levels for that Delorme tile layer. Is this similar to what you're seeing, or are the LocalLayer layers not showing up for you at all in 3D?

Testers wanted! Version 2.5 of the LocalLayerWidget is available for testing. It's quite a substantial upgrade from the last release (2.3, I think); There's some improved capabilities regarding Custom Layers, dynamic GUI changes, and even a prototype 3D widget that I'll cover in the 'official' release, but I'd appreciate some help to ensure that the new widget still works with everyone's existing configurations. Feel free to bring the 2D viewer into your 2.5 WAB environments and send any feedback my way! GitHub - cmndrbensisko/LocalLayer at LocalLayer2.5

I think I've seen this recently as well, Nadia. Does the menu still exit? If not, and this will sound pretty dumb, will it exit if click the OK button repeatedly? If you can hit 'save', does it save the layers you configured? How are you adding the widget to your app? Do you just toggle the visibility of the widget 'on' to activate it?

This is a great idea; I'll keep this in mind and see what I can do. Are you still getting that strange 'Label exists' error? The proxy settings shouldn't need to be used. If your service is public, I can try to see what's going on from my end.

This would be an interesting exercise, but no, I haven't looked into it at all. It's not something that I could bundle into this widget, I don't think, because the 3D stemapp uses the 4x Javascript API, while the 2D stemapp uses the 3x.

Do your WAB applications use multiple services in each, or just one, Garrett? There's an option to use LocalLayer in "Dynamic" mode, which will just load a service passed to it in the URL with default visibilities and all fields enabled for popup. Would this help at all? Even if you require multiple services, I think you can pass a pared-down configuration object directly into the application as well. You might be able to use this to load multiple services with no Popup/Visibility information specified, so they'd (hopefully) be inherited directly from the service. Are these options somewhat on the right track?

The latest 'beta' that I assembled probably shouldn't be called '2.3', since it will likely be rolled out at whatever WAB version the widget requires another major break-fix or overhaul at. Unless the widget is currently broken for 2.3 (Would be interested to investigate your Secured Service Printing issue, Rebecca!), I wasn't planning on releasing for this version.

Hey all, hope things are well. A quick question regarding spatial notifications; Once a Dataset-type Spatial Notification is set up in Workflow Manager Administrator, do any edits to the Feature Class trigger a notification (IE, edits made through ArcMap without Workflow Toolbar, edits made via Web Services, etc), or do these notifications only get triggered if the data is edited in a certain way? Any information that the community could provide would be appreciated.
