Hi, I believe you can do this using Survey 123 Connect but not the Web Designer. You will have to add each map question in a Repeat. The help doc for Repeats is here - Repeats. If I'm understanding your second question correctly, then yes, the geometry for multiple submissions can overlap. Hope that helps, Jill

Hi Melissa, I think you could do this pretty easily with a Python notebook. This sample is for cloning content but it contains all of the pieces for getting a reference to a feature service then looping through each web map and checking each of it's layers to see if they match the feature service. Thanks for talking it through with me. It doesn't seem like I can do what I want. The documentation does show that you can use a custom web map for a Survery123 map using Connect but I haven't gotten it working yet. Thanks!

Hi, The sketch tools in the survey are fine but when it's embedded in an Experience Builder app, there are two maps, which is confusing. I would like the user to be able to sketch on a map that includes additional reference layers. Thanks!

Hi @wayfaringrob , Thanks for the reply! I don't actually want to edit an existing record, I want to have users publicly submit a sketch of what changes should be made to an existing record (the actual edit will be made by back office staff after a QA procedure). I can transfer the attributes from the existing record to the survey using this technique - Using Experience Builder and Survey123 to pass attributes and geometry from one layer to another but then I'd like to be able to sketch the geometry on the web map.

Hi, Is it possible to collect geometry for a survey using a map widget in Experience Builder? What I would like to do is have an app with a web map of existing bike routes. The user would be submitting edits to the existing routes, not by editing the features but by submitting a sketch of the changes. I know that I can collect the geometry using the little map field embedded in the survey but I would like the user to be able to send data from the existing route to the survey and then sketch their changes on a web map with additional layers for context. Is this workflow possible? Thanks! Jill

Hi, A support analyst confirms that all HTTP URLs will be discontinued. I don't feel that this is reflected in the documentation. There should be an action item prompting users to update the links to any apps. Thanks!

Good Morning, With the HTTPS enforcement happening next month, can someone please confirm for me - are the URLs for hosted, configurable apps changing? Currently, if I open the item details page for a configurable app and click "View Application", I'm still directed to an HTTP URL. Will that link be dead in 3 weeks? I haven't read anywhere in the FAQs that the addresses to linked and embedded apps need to be updated. Thank you! Jill

Hi, I'm having an issue where I cannot create view layers of certain hosted feature service sub layers unless I uncheck the "Preserve Layer IDs" option. I have a hosted feature service with several sub layers, hosted on ArcGIS Online. I can use the "Create View Layer" button to create a view layer of the entire service, including all of the sub layers. When I click on an individual sub layer and try to create a view layer, only the first sub layer (id = 0), works correctly. All of the others appear to work but there are no layers listed on the item details page and when I click the data or visualization tab, nothing appears. I have no issues if I uncheck "Preserve Layer Ids". I also have other hosted feature services which don't give me the same problem. Is this a bug or something I don't understand about that option? Hi, For me, it was a mixed content problem. When I accessed the Web AppBuilder app using https instead of http the error was resolved. I hope that helps! Jill

Hi All, I am attempting to deploy a Web AppBuilder 2.15 app to a production server using the latest proxy from Releases · Esri/resource-proxy · GitHub . I get the following error (the item ID is for the web map) when I load the app: Unable to load https://[web server]/DotNet/proxy.ashx?https://[AGOL Org]/sharing/rest/content/items/[item ID]?f=json status: 0 However, when I browse directly to that URL outside of the app, I get no errors and the JSON description of the web map looks correct to me. Browsing to the item without the proxy gives me a 403 error, so proxy.config seems to be configured correctly. What does "Status: 0" mean? The proxy is good. I'm using it successfully for other WAB apps. The main difference is that those apps were created in WAB 2.8 and this new app is created in WAB 2.15. Is there a change to how apps are deployed that I'm not aware of? Thanks for any help you can give troubleshooting this. Jill

Hi, Is there a setting I am missing that will enable a warning before closing a map in Pro? Or is there a way to retrieve a map once it's been closed that I am not aware of? As far as I can tell once the map is closed all the work that went into it it is lost. I was recently giving a presentation and accidentally closed the map. I luckily was able to close the project without saving to retrieve it. Thanks! Jill

Hi All, My question is why I am able to make web map edits to certain feature layers but not others. I have several map services published to a an ArcGIS Server 10.5 instance. The first map service I add to a web map via the Add - > Add Layer from Web tool. I am able to edit the symbology and configure popups for each of the sub feature layers. The second map service is on the same server but when I add it to the web map I can only edit certain feature layers. For a handful of sub layers when I click the Change Style button it opens this empty form. The "Choose an attribute" dropdown is empty. When I click the Configure Pop-up button nothing happens. I don't get the usual configure popups form. I don't get anything. I have seem some folks have a similar issue that is related to field order - https://community.esri.com/thread/182363-why-cant-i-continue-configuring-the-pop-ups-on-my-agol-map but this does not seem to be the issue in my case. Any suggestions of what to look for? Thanks! Jill
