Thanks for the reply Rhett, I want a generic plugin that does not need to publish a geoprocessing service, and each time I want to add a layer I should re-calibrate the geoprocessing tool to include the new layer, I want the tool to recognize the selected layers itself and extract them. Sorry, maybe this was not clear in my post.

I have a parcels layer in an enterprise SQL Server Geodatabase (.mdf), when I perform a query on the layer to get the parcels with area larger than 100,000 m 2 using find by attributes-dialog box (using “Shape.STArea()>=100000”), it returns the required set of parcels. But, when publishing a map service that contains this layer, and trying to run the same query at the level of ArcGIS Server it does not return any value, whereas it returns values for queries on other fields like ObjectID. What might be the issue here? This is shown with screenshots below. Thank you. Hello all, I made a geoprocessing tool that finds the shortest route between two stops (entered by user) on a road network. Then, published it as geoprocessing service to be used in an ArcGIS viewer for Silverlight App. On the web, when finding the shortest route between two stops, the route is added to the map. Then when finding another route, the new route appears on the map and the first one stills. And when finding more routes, the previous routes are kept. How can I change this behavior so when a new route is found the previous one is removed from the map? This is shown below with screenshots. Hello all, I made a geoprocessing tool that finds the shortest route between two stops (entered by user) on a road network. Then, published it as geoprocessing service to be used in an ArcGIS viewer for Silverlight App. The behavior of the tool on web is not the same at desktop; when running the tool in ArcMap, I can choose the multiple stops locations by clicking on the map (One after another), but at the web level each time I have to choose a location I have to click on a “pen” button (shown in the screenshots below). This behavior is annoying and not user friendly, how can I make it as in ArcMap? Any help is appreciated. 1- Model 2- The tool @ web 3- The "Pen Button" That i should click each time I have to add a stop.

Hello all, I've installed ArcGIS 10.2 Geoevent Processor for Server, after the setup completed I started the Geoevent Service (and it is set to automatically start on startup), but the service stops automatically after less than a minute, I started it many times and each time it fails to continue running. What might be the problem here? This is shown by screenshots Any help is appreciated, Hani
