Hi @RussRoberts  Can I just check that you can definitely create groups of layers in the webmap that have been published to Portal in ArcPro in Enterprise 10.9.1? I just don't see any reference to creating a group of layers in the links. I'm trying to update a webmap I have for users that has groups of layers published as a map image layer. However I'm trying to update it by adding in some hosted feature layers within the groups, but these don't appear once published. So I'm back to not being able to create the groups. I would often use it to display previous years data. So I may have a list of layers for 2022, then I'll have a group called 2021 data and add the layers in there filtered for that year, incase users need to go back to check. Or just grouping categories of data layers together to keep a web app with lots of layers tidy. I'm trying to work around it by publishing Map Image layers for groups then adding these in to a web map but then there are restrictions with ordering the groups with hosted feature layers. Its minefield. Wish it was as simple when I used to use AGOL. Portal and groups is so cumbersome. Hopefully this will improve with the new versions. A quick search and I think the New Map Viewer is only available from version 10.9.1 of Enterprise. I'm still on 10.7.1 here, I'll have to wait until I upgrade and check again. Thanks for coming back to me. It'll make things so much easier to create groups in a web map. ... View more

Has anyone tried this successfully? I've just brought in my webmap to ArcPro, created a group then saved the web map. But when I view the web map in Portal it has ungrouped the layers. Thanks Rachel ... View more

Hi @Anonymous User, I'm waiting hard here on this enhancement, it will be a great addition. In the mean-time can I just clarify is there no way users can view the photos in a related table in a webmap, web app or dashboard? I'm about to release a survey that has 3,500 records in the inbox (filtered by user) so have to go down the route of images in repeats and just wondering if they can't view the image should I hold off for the update. Thanks MJ, It probably is the domain attribute. I went in to 'Delete List' but I keep getting a message 'There was an error'. If I delete each one on the list individually it still sees the list being there and keeps it as a coded string. Rachel ... View more

Hi, Just to update this, I found my cause they used the previous years form and I had removed the permissions so no one would use it. It's got me thinking of how I set the survey up to avoid this happening again. I have 6 crews that record info at the same 100 sites each, once per year. On the query expression of the Inbox of survey123 I have it set to:(surveyor1=${username} OR surveyor2=${username} OR surveyor3=${username} OR surveyor4=${username} OR surveyor5=${username} OR surveyor6=${username}) so that each user only sees the sites they need to see. If I load in the new sites each year with the surveyor field filled in with the username, and remove the usernames from the surveyor fields of the previous years data, then in theory when they hit refresh on the inbox of the form it should show them the new years sites ready to be filled in? I'm just very concerned about overwriting the previous years data, so would this work? The only thing is they would still have last years sites in their Sent folder. So they would need to delete the form and download it again if they want to get rid of them. It is only once a year and means they would only ever be one form in use. Would this be the best method? Hi Jayanta, The data is stored as a hosted feature layer in Portal in WGS 84. All the other layers stored in the same location behave according. The basemaps are in a different projection. I tried removing it , saving the project, closing, opening it and re-adding it but the problem still persists. The only way around it was to create a new project and add the layers again.
