Kristian, Did you ever get this resolved? I'm in the same position I've set the datefieldtimezone and daylight savings as per Tanu's message above, saved it and it's moved in the properties but is there. However, it hasn't made a difference to when I edit a date field. It's still in UTC rather than local time. Rachel ... View more

How to merge data in ArcSDE using SQL

Hi, I have datasets with one to many relationships to tables. These identical datasets and tables are in geodatabases by year. I'd like to merge the years as the schema is the same every year. However, I see if I merge them, the object ID changes and this is the only link I have to one of the tables REl_OBJECTID. The table shows photos uploaded. Is there any other way I can merge them, or will I just leave them separate for each year? Thanks R ... View more

Along with reordering we should be able to change the field properties e.g. from numeric to string, without the rigmarole of creating a new field different name , populatingthe field, deleting the old field, then creating a new field of the old name and repopulating. Sum for text values in Summary widget?

I have hundreds of text values categorised e.g. Car, Boat, Lorry, Motorbike etc. I want users to be able to see a sum of these e.g. 65 cars, 98 Boats, 34 lorries, 150 motorbikes. But the value field in the Summary widget only allows numeric values. It is the same for barchart, histogram, pie chart, they all require numeric values. Is there any way to summarise text values?
