Closing due to inactivity. Note that Dashboards don't know when a new feature has been added per se. This means any sort of dynamic spatial aggregation would need to be done at the layer level, and that would be expensive from a browser processing perspective. Getting a polygon ID attached to a point as it is entered into the system is probably the way to go, and this would probably be best handled via automated processes behind the scenes.  Both ArcGIS Velocity and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server have this kind of real time processing. Else, a Python script/notebook might be able to get the job done (scheduled, or in response to a webhook being triggered)  Note: Manually determining how many point fall within a polygon can be done in dashboards via our ability to apply spatial filters in response to a selection being made. Pie charts allow the dashboard author to configure label overrides for the categories. Additionally, controlling the text of a label can be achieved via a data expression.  ... View more

This is possible when the category selector is configured for 'Categories from Features'. That is, it is possible to display one field as the labels, and then sort on another. When the selector is configured for 'Categories from Grouped Values' a data expression can be written to control the sort order of selector's options.  ... View more
