@KevinArmstrong1 We can/will think of ways to accommodate more than one data set per dashboard element for a future release. Via data modeling/manipulation, you should be able to achieve the chart illustrated using a dashboard's serial chart element, and the ability to manually create multiple-series when the chart is configured to derive its categories from 'Features'. This workaround, however, will not work for all elements, and this is why we need to think about the idea in more detail.

@ArthurPoon It looks like you’ve included a secondary ideas to this request, and this doesn’t really adhere to our Submission Guidelines. Is there any change you could separate your idea into a separate submissions?

@HunterWest Dashboards do allow you to pull in a Stream Service/Layer as a visual reference. We do this in our map element. As per comment by @JeffShaner , other elements need to be hooked up to feature services. Others: There are a few other good ideas in this thread, but including them here makes this a 'multiple idea' request, which doesn’t really adhere to the Submission Guidelines. We'll have to request they be re-submitted and then evaluated as separate requests.

@AngeloMarino Please note that the product has evolved since this idea was submitted and many elements in what is now called ArcGIS Dashboards support Count. We have also made some improvements in its support recently as part of our ArcGIS Dashboards Beta, which is currently available on ArcGIS Online.

@Guidovan_der_Kolk2 Not all workflows pertaining to related data are implmented in ArcGIS Dashboards, but I do believe selecting a feature on the map and having a chart show the related data is possible by configuring layer actions on a dashboard's map elements. That is, when a layer's selection changes, it can filter another dashboard element (e.g. chart). Here is a Support article that also describes what the product facilitates. Please let us know if you have requirements that go beyond what we already have, and we can evaluate whether they pertain to this idea (on another/similar one from our backlog).

@AustinBard1 Unfortunately, this idea has failed to gain traction over time. One thought for that is that our dashboards are typically used to present data (i.e. information at a glance), and dashboard end-users don't often need to 'explore' the map in ad hoc ways that going back to the previous extent is required. What we offer dashboard authors is the ability to configure selectors and actions that (in a way) create more of a 'guided' exploration of the dashboard's content for its intended audience. Should more people request a previous extent button, we'd be happy to re-open/re-consider this idea.

@Xuehan_HarveyJing What you are requesting is already possible via ArcGIS Dashboards' category selector. They can be configured to allow users to a single category (e.g. Wednesday) or multiple categories (e.g. Monday, Wednesday, Friday). by adjusting the Selection setting.
