Lance, what version of Pro are you running? I do editing in my map series in pro quite a bit and have not had the issue of the coordinate system changing on me. One thing I have to make sure of is that I am "clicked" in the right map on my layout. Sometimes I'll accidentally click on my "inset" map which is usually in web mercator, so I'll have to remember to click on my main map (clicking it makes it the active map). Do you have physical contour lines at every 30 feet or so? Are are they at every meter? If I'm doing my math right, roughly every 9.144 meters is 30 feet, so it's likely that you do not have a physical line there. I am thinking that you might have to go back to the DEM and calculate based on foot-measurements. ... View more

Thanks for sharing that. I would have a hard time believing that this is a bug specifically in 2.7. It displayed correctly for me (I'm using 3.0.3). I would suggest closing all Pro instances and opening one and trying again. If it still persists, I would suggest restarting your PC and trying again. But it at least works for ArcMap and other versions. Just have to get to the bottom of it through much troubleshooting. I know that restarting a PC can be tedious and annoying but lately I have found weird 'memory' issues in Pro that restarting has resolved. ... View more

Doug, auto-complete does not behave the best with shapefiles. Can you make this feature as a feature class in a file geodatabase and try from there? Also, can you confirm that auto-complete can work with a small subset just for testing purposes? ... View more

I know ArcGIS Online has come along way with updating how they do updates... However, when it comes to changing symbology, reordering fields, changing field names and/or aliases, I fully recommend deleting the existing feature layer and then republishing a brand new one. If this is something that will cause a major headache due to the initial layer being all setup and stuff, you could publish your edited layer as a 'new' layer with a different name, and then using AGO-Assistant to repurpose the existing layer (https://assistant.esri-ps.com/). ...
