Kory, It is difficult to replicate, but I was working on layouts all day. Copying and pasting layouts, making changes to the layouts, moving text around, moving the North arrow and scale bars. Not sure if you can replicate if it's just a quick "test". I can tell you I'm running Windows 10 Pro, below are my specs. I've upgraded my NVIDIA Quadro P5000 driver last week.

Is anyone else getting random shadow outlines on their elements when moving the element around after setting the background color? I select my element such as my scale bar, go to the background properties, set the background fill to white (nothing else), then when I move that element to position using my cursor a black shadow outline, on occasion. I have to then go into the shadow properties and turn off the outline. This doesn't happen every time, but enough to be pretty darn annoying. ESRI if you are listening please review.

Updated to 2.3, and now we are having problems moving graphic text in a layout using Shift + direction arrow keys. Sometimes it works when you zoom into the text, select it, right-click and choose "Select" in the context menu. Or move the text with the mouse first, then immediately move with the arrow keys. Also, when I get the arrow keys to move the text, the text is jumping back to previous positions when I hit the direction key multiple times.

Kory, yes. This was in my initial explanation of how I would have to "reset" the classification method. Then the classes would open up again. I think the bigger problem is the deleting of ranges when you accidentally edit the upper value to an existing range value.

Pro 2.2 sde Polygon Long field format The related table is in sde as well, joined on a text field. I think I am seeing how this is breaking. I have values ranging from negative to positive (-6.0 to +9.0). I want to create my ranges at 2,4,6,8,10. My initial values are -4,-2, 1, 6, 9. I mistakenly changed one of the ranges to an upper limit that exists. For example: I changed -4 to 6, when I did this the range was deleted because 6 already exists. I think this is ESRI trying to be smarter than the user. "Hey you can't have two ranges of the same upper limit dum dum. Let me fix this for you by changing your 5 classes to only 4." I didn't realize I was duplicating a range. You can ctrl z to undo, which I just noticed. I just don't like the computer making these decisions because this could get lost when you have a large number of classes.

This is another random Pro issue. I initially set my Graduated Color symbology with the number of classes I want using the method "Manual Interval". I then proceed to change the Upper Values to my desired ranges. As I change these values, sometimes it will just delete a class and go from 5 to 4 classes. In addition, I am unable to change the number of classes as the "Classes" are grayed out. To workaround, I have to go through 'reset' by change symbol type or add a normalization, something to un-gray the classes. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm having these issues constantly on random operations from opening/closing a layout or map, opening legend properties, etc. Frustrated!!!

Erica, This was resolved in 2.0. You now get a "[Read Only]" notice in the aprx tile bar and a save as dialog if you try to save.

If you right click on the item you get an option to remove. Make sure to click on the value or label box.

I too am having problems with the snapping functionality disappearing. If I restart Pro I can get it back, but this is hardly a solution. One of the many things that are quite frustrating in Pro's "Not Ready for Primetime" release schedule.

thanks for the help Jeff, this was driving me mad. One quick note: it needs to be backslash '\' not a forwardslash '/'. Pro will bark at you as an invalid character is being used.

I'm running into problems loading complex feature services. Tile services seem to be working fine, and I've successfully loaded features that are simple, i.e. not many vertices roughly 40k vertices. I run into problems when the features get a bit more complex, particularly high number of vertices. I had failed to load a published dissolved layer of 1 polygon, but had a high vertices count (over 300k). I've successfully loaded a feature service with >500 polygons but < 5k vertices count. The errors I have seen are "Errors encountered extracting features." after it initializes for awhile.
