Thanks loads - this helped me also. I did try updatingmy registry settings with those from another machine that had an identical ArcGIS for Server installed, but something did not work. Easier option for me was to simply run a Repair on the ArcGIS for Server install - fixed everything up!

I want to upgrade my Esri Maps for Office Running Windows 7 64bit, Office 2013 I believe the version of EM4O I am running is 2.1 On trying to uninstall from add/remove programs or from running the 2.1.4 installed of EM4O, I cannot get past this step: I cannot locate this setup.msi file. Whats the manual steps for removing EM4O off my machine so I can roll on with a newer version?

What would be the best way to go about setting up a geoevent service to catch when the incoming rate of geoevents hits a certain threshold? For example, if I had an input connector checking for new features within a feature service, how could I catch when there was a sudden flurry of new new features being created?

Using either the OOTB Print Service with ArcGIS for Server 10.2.2, or publishing a new one (as per the instructions), I am having issues with client the templates not honouring the anchor points of dynamic text like titles and authors. Title in Layout MXD with correct anchor point so it should only expand to the right of where it has been placed: In a client application: Same for Author: Can someone confirm that this is a bug?

I have a points layer (hosted feature service in my AGO account). These have a Level field, that I would like to label upon. The Label field is a double, and has values for all features. If you refer to the animated GIF below, I believe I am following the required steps to setup labels. When saving the layer/webmap, the layer fails to render on this field. Same applies if I try to label on other fields or even a fixed string. Can someone point out where I am going wrong?

You need to know the recipient’s cellular carrier, and find out the carrier’s SMS gateway, by looking it up online. Once you have the carrier and gateway, you can add them to the ’com.esri.ges.transport.sms.cfg’ file located under the <GeoEvent-Processor-Install-Directory>\etc folder, and restart the GeoEvent Processor

You can add in a new provider settings by tweaking a back-end config file: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\GeoEventProcessor\etc\com.esri.ges.transport.sms.cfg Here is where you can plug in the carrier and SMS gateway information from a provider.

I have setup an OpenData site (currently private). Issue 1 - Home Page - Latest Data thumbnails are too small When comparing my site to the Detroit site, my Latest Data widget (Data List with max 3 items) the thumbs are a lot smaller and contain lengthy descriptions. It looks like the Detroit site does not have descriptions on its items (which I need to have). Is there any way to just show the thumbnails, title and perhaps author/last modified? Issue 2 - Searching for a Dataset - Return Group Thumbnail When I search for a dataset, it has the Group thumbnail as opposed to the actual items thumbnail. Anyway to make this the item thumbnail?

Is this the best way to achieve this? From a Flex and Javascript API perspective, adding LODs was part of the API. Specify LODs (levels of detail) | ArcGIS API for JavaScript‌ Was hoping for a similar method on the AGSMapView.

Thanks for prompt response Mike. That makes sense, I was just wondering as the feature service was hosted on ArcGIS Online, there might have been a way at overriding it. Will look at recovering data and overwriting service without the scale levels applied within the ArcGIS for Desktop environment. Thanks.
