There's a pop-up warning you about making hand edits to the HTML and if you do, you will not be able to get back to the wizard. If you really need to get back to the wizard, the easiest method I've found is to just create another site.

I definitely think that having a geographic proximity would be helpful, and even better if there was some kind of prioritization based on distance In our particular case, if any of our neighboring cities participate in the program, it would be far easier for a user see and access their relevant data, than say the state data of Arkansas.

I'm having a similar experience with datasets in our open data site. I can get the download, but the .zip it creates is only 1kb. Trying the other download options resulted in nothing working. All the types of downloads were working in the beta phase.

Here's what has happened: I created a new open data group for our transportation datasets. After creating the group, I added a feature service (streets) to the group and shared it publicly. The dataset shows up and has all the correct attribution. What I noticed that was odd was the related datasets that loaded at the bottom of the page. All of the related datasets are from a group in Arkansas. Now I have nothing against Arkansas, but this just seems really weird. To make it even more weird, the urls that are generated from the related links use our path. Here's a link to our streets dataset http://test.chesva.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/b591ade6864c40368b0eda279dfe91c5_1 and here's one from the related datasets http://test.chesva.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/2947af2686d24bd285bc9c17779c64ce_9 I made our site public for the time being so that someone can try and see if they get the same issue. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

We had the same thing happen to our site. I chalked it up to one of our admins that was against anonymous access not admitting to unchecking the box. Now I'm "glad" to see someone else has experienced this. 😛

Background...I've read the thread about the Widget Setup, so I know there are some peculiar issues based on which browser you are using. The issue I'm having crept up this morning: When attempting to "Configure Site," Chrome 34 immediately redirects me from "https://chesva.opendata.arcgis.com/sites" to "https://chesva.opendata.arcgis.com/about" Even if I go directly to the "https://opendata.arcgis.com/sign-in" URL, I get redirected to the "about" page. The "about" page is always a blank page with the following html:
<html><head><style type="text/css"></style></head><body></body></html>
Both IE 10 and FF 29 allow me to get to the configuration page. Anyone else having this issue or something similar?

I haven't found any time zone information in our organization account. After speaking with the data owner again, I've theorized that there's probably some data migration issues. The source was originally in an MS Access file that was geocoded to a .gdb and then converted to .shp and then edited and then zipped for AGOL. Phew...

I haven't tried that yet, but another thing I just noticed was that in AGOL the record has 8/11/2013, but in Explorer Online, the date is 8/12/2013.

Has anyone else had issues with date fields when uploading zipped shapefiles? We have a user who uploaded data that included a date field that is Date data type. The original data has an attribute of 8/12/2013, but when uploaded to AGOL, some of those records have the date changed to 8/11/2013. To make an even odder observation, if you download the data from AGOL, the records match the original data. Any ideas? Thanks!

Here is a script that I have used with a little bit more flexibility than using the 'All' keyword. That is exactly what I was trying to do. Oddly, my original code looked eerily similar, barring the "arcpy.time.EsriTimeDelta," which is what was giving me the hardest time. I really need to read through all the modules Thanks much!!

Why don't you just run a scheduled task at night that disconnects all users? Thanks! I knew I was overthinking this whole situation. The best part was that the ArcGIS Server services reconnected by themselves, which was my initial fear with using "ALL" when this started.

Hello All, We have an issue with users leaving their PCs on over night (or longer) with connections to our enterprise database. Unfortunately, this has become quite the issue lately with us running out of connections to the database during the middle of the day, when in reality, there's 5 or more connections left over from a previous day. I've attempted at using the arcpy.Disconnectuser function, but it seems to only like the ID, from arcpy.ListUsers. We really need the disconnect function to be based on date. I'm probably totally overthinking how to get this to work and have scrapped several attempts so far. Does anyone have a python script that disconnects users based on the ConnectionTime that is generated from arcpy.ListUsers? Is there a better way? Thanks for any help!!
