Please help me here. We are getting ready to migrate from Oracle to SQL Server and in the process our Network group has determined that it is a good time to make everything highly available. Their suggestion is to have an active-active environment for our enterprise geodatabase. Last year, ESRI suggested to us to use an active-passive environment for our geodatabase. Of course versioning is turned on with quite a few feature classes. Am I correct in thinking that the active-active environment is not necessarily a good idea with versioned data? In a file-based system with non-versioned data, I can see where this makes total sense, not so much with versioning. I hope someone has some experience with this. Any advice is totally helpful! Thanks, Cameron

Thanks! That gets the look and feel right. I'm still having issues with it keeping the symbol layer drawing once I save my project and come back to it. Looks like I'll be trying a fresh installation of Pro

I am having the same issue as Matthew, it seems like the Symbol layer drawing is acting up in Pro. In this particular screenshot, wouldn't the Group_2 Arterial Minor brown line (which should be a casing) draw over the beige line? The same with the "LOCAL" black line symbol over the white line symbol? I am missing something? Sometimes after making changes in the symbol layer drawing, the features will also just disappear, only coming back after closing out ArcGIS Pro. Then, after re-opening, the symbol layer drawing will be back to if you just started working on it

Did something change recently? We haven't experienced this before today, or if we have, no users have contacted us. I've been working with the person in charge of our address points feature class to clear up some of the issues we get in the data manager of Open Data. It has been a slooooow process.

We had a user contact our organization about a strange data issue. The user downloaded our address points (Dataset | City of Chesapeake, VA Open Data Site) and noticed we had an abnormally high number of addresses that have a street prefix "ST_PREFIX" in ( 'E', 'N', 'S', 'W') , just about every record. I checked our enterprise geodatabase and the data does not match (Query: address_points (ID: 😎 ). Given what happened, I reset the downloads and updated the index on the site. Even with the resets, it seems like Open Data shows the correct data, but when you download the shapefile, there's data being added to both the ST_PREFIX and ST_SUFFIX field. There is also a domain on both fields if that makes a difference. Just reporting this strange occurrance. Anyone else having the same?

Looks like the warning is gone from our Data Management page Now we have another: Warning: This Dataset comes from an Item that points to more than one layer. For Open Data, we recommend that Items reference individual layers. and one I didn't catch yesterday: Warning: messages.inspectors.display_field.not_present All of our open data layers are referenced as individual feature layers so I'm not sure what's generating that warning. I think the warning found in our CIty Boundary layer is because there are only "shape" and "objectID" fields visible.

In our "Data Manager" tab, we started experiencing a new warning: Warning: messages.processors.service.group_layer_warning Does anyone have any insight to this? This seems to be happening on all of our datasets and refreshing does not seem to make any difference. Also not sure how long this has been happening as I've neglected to check the page for a while. Ideas? Cameron

Thanks Daniel! Is there anything on our end we can do to prevent this from happening in the future?

Yeah, I just tried our parcel data again this morning, and it's still duplicating. Dataset | City of Chesapeake, VA Open Data Site , so is the 2035 Land Use Classes from my first reply. I've cleared my IE browser cache and used Firefox with no cache and get exactly the same results. It's downloading the parcels .zip (41.6MB) extremely fast. Could it be some temporary internet file? I just tried a "new" dataset, one I haven't downloaded before and it seems like it's 100% correct. Dataset | City of Chesapeake, VA Open Data Site Cameron

Having the same issue with our data. It also looks like it's happening with several of our data layers. I've tried all the same things Simon, and had exactly the same result. I've also tried it with an "old" style site and the "new" bootstrap style and it doesn't seem to make a difference, so we can probably mark that off the list of offenders. Here is our example: Dataset | City of Chesapeake, VA Open Data Site Cameron

Thank Robert! I also noticed, after thinking about it a little, that maybe it had something to do with some paths and it looks like it does: This is the second big change in apps (the other being open data site updates) they've sprung on us recently...with little to no information about the changes until it's live.

Has anyone had any success to migrate an app from any Beta version to the release version? I noticed there's a new folder in each app number (ArcGIS-web-appbuilder-1.0/server/apps/#) named "buildScripts" and not sure if that's the issue. Tried using the "Import" function from the web appbuilder, but that's only looking at content that's already hosted on AGOL and my apps all live on a local webserver. Any ideas? Cameron

I started looking at using a custom basemap this morning. Good idea for the site! So far most of the basemaps were working . Is anyone else having issues with using the OpenStreetMap basemap? If I select it, it keeps the previously selected basemap and does not update the "set extent" area. Saving the site only keeps the previously selected map. Please see the attachment. Cameron
