@ToddStanwood Your end product looks just like what I am trying to achieve but have not had much luck. I am trying to show origin and destination links from fire stations to calls as arcs like yours. I see you contracted to get yours done. Is the script available or would I need to contract with them. I'd love to see Esri add this to Pro. It is a great visual.

I'd be interested if any one has figured this out. I have origin destination links from our fire stations to fire calls and I want to display them like 3D arches rather than straight lines. I have some python samples but none do what I want with a nice curve in 3D from point to point. Thank you for any insights.

I am interested in doing this too. I have created Origin-Destination Links but my data is very local. About 40 miles maximum from origin to destination and much less on average. I would like to create circular arcs from the origin to the destination like the graphic in this thread but haven't found much that will do that. I have some arcpy samples but they don't produce the effect desired. Thank you for any further options.

Hello, I am trying to create a circular arc between two points but am not able to find examples or documentation. I'd also like my circular arcs to also have Z values so they look like an arc extending up a specified Z value. I can create the polylines easy enough, I think, but how to create a circular arcs with the start and end points. Here is what I am working off of now. import arcpy
start_point = arcpy.Point(10, 10, 100 )
end_point = arcpy.Point(20, 20, 200)
arc_geometry = arcpy.Geometry()
arc_geometry.geometry = "circular arc"
point_array = arcpy.Array()
point_array.add(start_point)
point_array.add(end_point)
arc_geometry = arcpy.Polyline(point_array)
Thank you for any suggestions on how to create a circular arc given the start and end points. Mele

I found a way to do it. I added a field to the form and created an expression for the URL. I then hid the field and saw the expression in the Info element when I went in to configure it.

This is great! I am able to add the info element and make it conditionally available. For some reason, I do not see the expression I created and only the attributes of the layer. Is there a particular place to add an expression that uses a value from the layer for use in the URL?

I think I found the issue. It is not with the "NATURE" field, but rather the X_STREET field. The X_STREET field may have "\" in the field. Removing the X_STREET field from processing looks to have fixed the issue. NATURE 962 is a vehicle accident and apparently the X_STREET may have characters in it that GeoEvent Server does not like to process.

I am pulling down GeoJson files from another organizations portal for fire calls as a FeatureCollection. For the most part, it appears to be working well. With GeoEvent I am using a watch folder for Geojson files I have GeoJson files for the incidents, route, and units. One issue I am having is that incident features in the FeatureCollection are not being processed that have these values "NATURE": "962MC", "NATURE_DESC": "962 INVOLVING MOTORC ", This is a specific example, but any GeoJson Event with Nature that begins with "962" does not create a point in the Add A Feature output The logs show this, but not much there Failed to create a GeoEvent from incoming JSON feature. Unexpected error occurred. Very odd, any suggestions as to how to remedy this? Thank you, Mele

Hello, I am am running a simple model that uses a secured feature layer and exports its features to GeoJson. I can run the model in ArcGIS Pro Modelbuilder and everything works as expected. If I convert that model to run as a scheduled task, nothing happens. No errors either. I have access to the secured feature layer via my AD login so I thought maybe I needed to run the task with my credentials but still no luck. Do I need to add reference to my ArcGIS Pro project to the script knows how to find the layer? Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Mele

I contacted https://support.esri.com/en-us/overview and they suggested the registry edit. Coincidentally, I just did this again for another user the other day. It was the same issue with the registry. Mele

Hello, I have an input layer and am iterating it to select each value. I then use a field value to select by attribute, set to add to selection, in another layer. This works. If there are are three records in the input, three are selected in the other layer. Next, I'd like to switch the selection and delete the rows that are not in the input layer. I've tried to put another select by attributes tool and then switch selection. The switch selection does not select the remaining features. In the example above, three features of 76 are selected by using an add to selected features and then if I add another select by attributes set to switch the selection, only 74 records are in the selection and not 73 Thank you Mele

Hello, I am using an ArcGIS Pro scheduled task to export features from a map service as GeoJson files. These features are fire calls and in the input service I have only shows the active ones. I am using GeoEvent to create features in an output service that is connected to a SQL Geodatabase from the GeoJson files. This is working quite well. One issue is that there is not a field in the service that signifies the status. If the incident is no longer active, it won't show up in the service provided to me used for exporting the GeoJson files. I have been trying to set something up in ArcGIS Pro model builder, but am not getting the results I'd like. Is there a way to iterate through the service that holds the incoming features and check the output feature layer and SQL database for a feature no longer in the active incoming service. There is not a good way that I know of to determine from the time alone if the fire call is still active. If a feature is in the output SQL db and not in the incoming service, I'd like to change a field. If a call is no longer active, I've thought about updating a field I've added named Status but not sure how. I was thinking a Filter might work, but maybe there is another way to do it with GeoEvent. I could also delete the processed files, but the features would still be in the SQL table. Thank you for any suggestions Mele

Hello I had installed the Waze Transport and Adapter on a 10.9 installation and it was working in my testing. We recently upgraded our GeoEvent Server to 11.3 and now the WAZE IN (Receive Waze for Cities Data) gives an error and won't start. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall the Waze components and still get an error that says "Thread 0 WazeJsonDataRequester failed to get HTTP response due to IO error" Any suggestions on what to try to get this running again? Thank you, Mele
