@JeffSilberberg as RJ was describing, the issue seemed to be that we have a carryover and duplication of the call signs each day and GeoEvent Server didn't know which was the 'correct' one to use. I have been testing my GeoEvent Services since I received further info from RJ and things look good so far. I am testing it now as two active fire units in the City. The real test will be during our events, but I suspect that the clear out of call signs is the key for us each day.

Good Afternoon, We are using field maps to track our Fire Department staff during the Event Season in Scottsdale (Barrett Jackson Auto Auction, WM Phoenix Open Golf Tournament) With the tracking view updated by Field Maps, we are enriching the input with GeoEvent Server and updating a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online with additional data from a hosted table layer. The hosted enrichment table, above left, includes the first and last names, and most importantly the call sign that the user is assigned each day. This assignment changes daily. For example, one day MC610 (medical cart) is staffed by one team and a different team the next. Additionally, we have a tag in the enrichment table for Medics as they leave to event sites. Following the lead of @RJSunderman with the concept of partial updates, the top input/output where the call sign is set rounds every 180. The bottom input/output of the fields from the track view updates every 10 seconds. This approach has worked well and created a stable update. The username is the Unique Feature Identifier Field (Track_ID) in both parts of the service The next phase I tried to implement this year was to update the unit status of the units on site at the event. I have another GeoEvent service which processes CAD data to generate SQL records based on the status of a unit (Available, On Call). In the above service, I am using a map service to push the unit status to the same hosted feature layer that is used to update the locations and call signs in a hosted feature layer. However, in this above example, I am using the call sign as the Unique Identifier Field (Track_ID) so in theory when MC610 gets a call there status would change. I had tested this approach but during the event season it did not prove to be reliable. I could see that the service was pushing the values to the hosted feature layer, but that hosted feature layer did not update. I was wondering if I need to use the same Unique Identifier of username for both processes, but did not have the time to try it out once the events started. It also seemed that a side effect of using the call sign as the Unique Identifier Field, was that the hosted feature layer might toggle to the wrong call sign despite what the first service doing the enrichments was setting the value as. Let me know if anyone has any thoughts on how best to do this. Thank you Mele

Hello, I have a hosted feature layer that has a call sign. I also have a hosted table layer with the call sign and unit status. What I would like to do is use the values from the table layer to determine whether the call sign will be white or red text based on the value from unit status. Is there an Arcade expression that would allow me to do this? Thank you Mele @XanderBakker

@EmilyGeo I did open a support ticket but to answer your questions I added the field via the Data Tab It is a string I don't see the new field in Data Tab, Fields Pane, and ArcGIS Pro I got the error message, when I tried to add the field again, because it never show up in the above bullet. I've never had this one before. Mele

Hello, I have an ArcGIS Online Feature Layer that I wanted to add a field to. I did add a new field, but didn't see that it was added. Now when I try to add it, I get this message, but again it is not there at all. Column names in each table must be unique. Column name 'Demob' in table 'db_13096.user_13096.COS_Event_Tracking_Enriched_SFD_LKL' is specified more than once. Thank you for any suggestions. Mele

Hello, I have an Arcade expression that launches a web page where the workers can submit a ticket if there is an issue. I do not want the URL but rather the words 'Submit Work Order' or something of the like, but I have not had much success. What I have right now is below. When I have tried to add the expression as the link to the words 'Submit Work Order' it doesn't seem to always work. I feel like I had this working but am definitely missing something now. Thank you for any help. Mele

I love the scene you created, that is very cool! From the looks of what you did, that is exactly what I wanted! Thank you for this code. I will work with against my data and will absolutely share what I am doing when I get there. Mele

@HeathAnderson Yes! That is what I am looking to create. I am working on a regional level with Origin and Destinations from Fire stations to fire calls but want to show them like what you sent. I'd be interested to know how you did yours. Looks great!

Thank you @JoshuaBixby I am able to create curves with the info you sent. The documentation is not clear at all, but you did help get me going in the right direction. My next step is to create the curves with Z, but if I add a Z value to the curve. esri_json = { "curvePaths": [ [ [pt1.X, pt1.Y], {"c": [[pt2.X, pt2.Y], [midpt.X, midpt.Y]]} ] ] , "spatialReference" : {"wkid" : 2868} } Any thoughts on how to this? I want an circular arc from pt1 to pt2 with Z and an elevation by midpoint Thank you

@ToddStanwood Your end product looks just like what I am trying to achieve but have not had much luck. I am trying to show origin and destination links from fire stations to calls as arcs like yours. I see you contracted to get yours done. Is the script available or would I need to contract with them. I'd love to see Esri add this to Pro. It is a great visual.

I'd be interested if any one has figured this out. I have origin destination links from our fire stations to fire calls and I want to display them like 3D arches rather than straight lines. I have some python samples but none do what I want with a nice curve in 3D from point to point. Thank you for any insights.

I am interested in doing this too. I have created Origin-Destination Links but my data is very local. About 40 miles maximum from origin to destination and much less on average. I would like to create circular arcs from the origin to the destination like the graphic in this thread but haven't found much that will do that. I have some arcpy samples but they don't produce the effect desired. Thank you for any further options.
