Hello @mthompson, You will not be able to add a mosaic dataset to a drawing. ArcGIS for AutoCAD has no way to add any imagery layer other than those using dynamic service.

Hey @DerekBannon22, Thanks for posting the WKIDs you are working with. For the reprojection behavior with BC Albers (WKID 3005) to CSRS 10N (WKID 4269) would you be able to see what ArcGIS Pro does with your dataset please? At the same time can you provide your data or a subset of this dataset so we can test in-house with you? Also remind us what Autodesk version/vertical you are running and what build of ArcGIS for AutoCAD as well. Kind regards, Dan

Hello @jmeyer7, Thanks for your post and using ArcGIS for AutoCAD! I see you are using version 420. If at all possible it would great if you could download the currently latest version, 430.1. Once installed please try your described workflow again and post back how this turns out. To download ArcGIS for AutoCAD from this site please scroll to the bottom to enter your details in the download form to receive the download link.

Hello @RuszkowskiRen, There will be a gap in time between the AutoCAD 2025 release and the 430.1 release of ArcGIS for AutoCAD. This release is functionally equivalent with the 430 release but adds support for AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D version 2025. This release is expected this month (May). While patiently waiting for the release please note you can leave the currently installed 2025 version while also installing a 2024 or earlier product to work with the 430 version.

Hello @mmurphycpw, Thanks for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD! Off hand I cannot think of anything that would cause this behavior nor have I seen it in testing. 1) What vertical (basic AutoCAD, Civil 3D) if any of AutocAD are we using? 1.1) What version of AutoCAD are we using? 2) Is this feature layer a hosted layer or a feature service referencing data from an enterprise geodatabase? 3) You mention lines (force main) are added as expected. What are the other lines that are not being added? 3.1) Are these other lines on another sub-layer? 3.2) Is there any difference with the force main lines versus the lines not being added? 4) Can someone check the ArcGIS Server logs right after you add this feature layer to your drawing?

Hello @jmcewen_ddg, Thanks for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD! I do not see the behavior you are where you need to add the additional forward slash, "/", at the end of the URL. Perhaps the architecture used in your organizations ArcGIS Enterprise deployment warrants the need for this additional forward slash. Thanks for posting what worked for your organization! Kind regards

Hello, Thanks for using ArcGIS for AutoCAD! If possible please log an Esri Technical Support case with the Enterprise-Ext team. We would like to get details about the layers being added to the drawing, the versions in use, The basemaps added, etc. Does it happen if you start a new drawing? Kind regards.

The right-click step not mentioned was implied by the document link I provided in my initial post. Yes, you have to save an image file as it is part of this extract process so your map and or image layer will print/export during the output. Where you place this file and keeping the image files are completely up to you. You could delete any exported image and extract them again the next time you would like the output saved again.

I think the communication is being missed because the word "export" sounds like it is being used for the word "extract". Let me try one more time with images. If you need to print one or more of your map/image layers, you can use the extract command from the context menu by right-clicking on the map layer in the Esri Contents dialog and selecting "extract". I have the following drawing with one Web Feature Layer (WFL) and two Map/Image Layers. The map/image Layers are not going to display in the Layout view at all and to work around this the function "Extract" can be used. The PDF only contains the WFL. The output PDF: But if I use the extract function on the Map/Image Layers first then switch to Layout view to plot or export to PDF we obtain all the layers we expect. I hope this helps.

Hello @whitecosmos, All Web Feature Layers will print no matter where they are sourced (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise) from. However, ArcGIS for AutoCAD output does not display the Map Service data in layout view because printing is not supported. If you need to print one of your map/image layers, you can use the extract command from the context menu by right-clicking on the map layer in the Esri Contents dialog and selecting "extract". There is a resource document for this workflow. ArcGIS for AutoCAD > Manage > Primary user interface > Esri Contents user interface **Search for, “extract”, (then look under “Map and imagery layers..”) which has been and still is the command from AFA to save the image layer as a local file before printing.

Hello, Thanks for trying ArcGIS for AutoCAD! I think providing screen captures would always help with these questions but what I think you are describing is the Esri Contents and the different layer types. ArcGIS for AutoCAD separates Web Feature Layers, Map/Image Layers and Document Feature Layers. As you have discovered the Project Area will only affect the Web Feature Layers while Map/Image Layers are added as the entire layer and Document Feature layers are entities that are in the local drawing. I hope this helps!
